Clinton Motel

Although a but outdated you could see an effort to modernize it. The bed was comfortable the room was clean . I loved the full couch so you could watch tv and not be in bed. It was quiet and we slept great.. The owners were so sweet.

There is nothing negative to say.

Little hidden gem. The owners are wonderful! The rooms are quaint and very clean. One of the only places I will sleep under the sheets. I Highly recommend for a short stay or even longer. Price is affordable.

Absolutely nothing I didn't like. If I had to say anything maybe that there isn't any vending machine for drinks but places close.

Very nice people. The hotel was very clean and for a basic, no frills motel along Route 1 near the shoreline, this is a great little place. Not a large room, but it was cute. Not a large bathroom, but it was just fine. We needed to iron some things and an iron and ironing board was in the room. We have stayed in several places along the CT shoreline from Branford to Old Saybrook and this little place was a great find. If your tastes are more toward the Madison Beach Hotel or the Water’s Edge, this hotel is NOT for you, but an inexpensive alternative and in an excellent location to get around, especially Hammonasset, this little hotel will do just fine!

CLEAN.

Obviously its not a resort but for cheap price you get a nice clean little room cozy beds peaceful nights sleep. Our room even had a little couch and coffee table . Its right on rte 1 where there are some restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Catch a sunset at Clinton beach or Clinton boat launch. If you just want basic nights stay this is a graet choice.

such a cute family run business. sweet staff and very pleasant. loved the old school feel. no it’s not the most updated and fancy place but that’s what gives it it’s charm. has everything you need.

Communication and hospitality was ezceptional even when the cable went out but management came down and knocked on the door.

I always stayed there when going to the beach very nice hotel very clean pool isnice and the owners are very polite very nice people will still there again and again have nothing to say bad about the place

I love the Clinton Motel, we have been going since 2018. It's a great little motel and the staff is wonderful. The pool is great and it's a short drive to the beach.

Clinton Town Beach is the closest beach but it's $50, but Hammonasset is just a tiny bit further and a reasonable $15 on weekdays, half price after 4:00.

Cute little motel in convenient location. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Great location in the heart of Clinton. Lots of food options near by. If we are ever back in Clinton we will definitely be staying here again.

The location.

I needed a more long-term, temporary stay. The property encouraged renting directly through them which I did. The room was not anything like I’d had before when booking through an online agency. I gathered the inferior rooms are given when you book through them because there is no process of rating & review as Here.
