La Quinta by Wyndham New Haven

Location was great. Directly across from the hotel is a strip of food trucks, Generally Spanish food. Easy to walk to and conveniently close to the downtown area where you have wider options.

The elevator was out of service for my entire stay. Although I was on a floor that was relatively close to the ground floor, I can only imagine the inconvenience for the other hotel occupants that may have been on the last floor.

I thought that the staff was excellent. They respected our concerns and aporeciated our suggestions . I felt that you were understaffef a bit..

THE fitted sheets did not fit the bed properly. They fit the pullout. I was under the impression that we were suppised to have 2 queen size beds: booking .com and La Quinta could communicate better. The hallways had a funny smell. The workout room..not really I understand that you are renovating. A couple of rollout workout yoga mats maybe some dumbbells and towels in workout room.Need more coffee..maybe keep out 30 or so minutes after breakfast.. Add anothwr fruit to apples..i suggest oranges

The hotel was nice for a one night stay on our road trip. It had plenty of parking and right next to IKEA.

The breakfast options were limited, and there was no restaurant nearby, so you'll have to drive somewhere. I also didn't like the checkout time is 11am.

Everything the breakfast was amazing the staff here are so friendly and caring. The rooms here are so clean and the beds are very comfortable.

The rooms don’t have a mini fridge or microwave for us to eat other things other than breakfast throughout the day but it’s okay overall this place rocks.

Great breakfast every morning. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They didn't have the room we ordered so they gave us another room to make up for it. Any time there was an issue the staff worked to address it and make us feel comfortable.

Rooms seem a bit worn down

Omg - I would stay there again for the black out curtains alone!! I work PM shift & this was the first place I stayed where the blackout curtains actually worked

Good price and location. Nice room but too much light in window.

We reserved through booking.com, arrived, paid and stayed. Yet we received notice that our reservation was canceled and we didn't get credit for our stay on booking.com. please correct!

Room was large. Free breakfast has quite a few options.

I arrived 90 mins before the check-in time of 3pm. Though the room was ready, the reception wanted to charge $25 for early checkin.

The staff was friendly and professional, the room was clean, big and nice

The bed was not very comfortable

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and it was cool that you were able to make your own belgian waffles for breakfast.

The floor mats were bad and it was easy to trip over them
