Hampton Inn by Hilton Milford

Location was good, breakfast was good - since we were traveling it saved another stop on our trip - able to grab some food and get moving - always a plus for us. Room was a little small, hallway corridor was loud as you could hear full conversations through the door. Overall good for what we needed a place to rest while traveling.

Hallway corridors were loud and you could hear full conversations through the closed doors. Rooms a bit smaller than we are used to - but clean and nice for an overnight stay while traveling.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. We chose a room with a tub and the tub was big enough to enjoy a comfortable bath. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, toast, yogurt, fruit, and more. Everything was fresh and tasty. We brought our dog and staff was kind and friendly to our dog as well. The room was big enough to set up our dog’s crate and not feel crowded. There was a sidewalk on the street that allowed us to take our dog for a nice long walk. The lobby area was cleaned daily.

Outside there was some trash. But they are near a Main Street and highway. So, that is hard to keep up with.

Front desk very friendly! Helpful. Room clean. Bed comfortable.

Maid service started knocking on our door before 9am!!!!! We said no thank you. They continued knocking and opened the door and entered the room on my teenage daughter while I was down getting us breakfast. As I was going into the room with breakfast in my hands…. they asked are you checking out??? I said yes around 11am.(check out was 12pm) 10:55am they were banging on the door again!!! It was obnoxious. I always leave housekeeping a cash tip but definitely not this time! I have never been harassed like that and I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels around the world. Banging on a door/entering a room 4 times in 2 hours was just ridiculous.

athe staff was extremely helpful and efficient and any request that we made was immediately answered and I had inadvertently left some my jewelry on the bathroom sink and one of the employees who does the room cleaning notified the front desk of the fact that si had left some jewelry in the room and the employee at the front desk calle up to the cleaning department and the jewelry was waiting at the front desk when we checked out!!

Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. Good facilities. Great breakfast.

There was one staff member that clearly hated his job and it showed . Only one toaster was available at breakfast which did cause long waits

What I liked about the property was the professionalism of the staff ,I especially want to give a shot out to your overnight manager Annette, we came in off of amtrak after riding all night long and she made some accommodations for me and for that I will always speak highly of her, keep up the good work because it doesn't go unnoticed.

The atmosphere was great, outside clean,lobby fresh clean, staff at desk pleasant. Room immaculately clean fresh AC worked great bathroom clean & stocked, tv excellent, bed soft fresh pillows plenty on bed. Breakfast was ti die for service fantastic staff very nice. Helpful all.the while I was there. This is a place that I will visit much more times.

No microwave in room

The maintenance repair man was quick even late at night and found us a better room to move to. He must have his hands full as there seems to be much to upkeep as this is an older property. Staff are attentive and helpful. Rooms are small but beds are comfortable. Motel is good for a one night stay. Wouldn't want to stay here longer term though.

Initially received room with leaking fridge but was changed to king suite which was much nicer and bigger. Oddly the heat not the air conditioning was on making a hot muggy room worse and it smelled bad. Fortunately the air conditioning works well and the smell improved and seemed to go away. The hall air conditioning was likewise out so that was uncomfortable as well and they had a fan blowing air down the hall. No hot breakfast just a cold continental one. The only hotel out of three on this northeast coast vacation that didn't have a hot breakfast. The rooms are pretty small and on the older side. The sink also drained really slowly and most likely needed to be unclogged.

Easy check-in, convenient location, clean overall. I also like the fact that I know what to expect when staying at a Hampton Inn anywhere so there are no surprises and that takes away a little bit of stress when choosing a place to stay.

Overall the room was clean- well vacuumed, shiny bathroom. But it had a subtle old damp smell which we noticed when we first walked into the room but our nose adapted so we didn't complain, but if we were staying for more days, we would have asked to switch the room.
