Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rehoboth Beach, an IHG Hotel0

The hotel is conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Coffee and tea were available all day. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pumps in the bathroom smelled great and left my hair feeling more smooth and healthy.

I would have liked to have seen more breakfast items available. There was no lotion in the bathroom or a note pad in the living area, both of which I find convenient when on a trip.

The breakfast was excellent - we have stayed here for several years and like it very much.

However, this year is the first I didn’t give the highest ratings. The door of the armoire to hang clothes was loose and I fixed it myself with a screwdriver from the front desk. The air conditioning was not always working properly, each afternoon we returned from the beach to a hot stuffy room (no matter the thermostat setting.) And the door to the room had some issues where it scraped the floor. These are pretty small issues (the air conditioning was a little bit of a nuisance) and the hotel still gets a very positive review from me, but this time there were some negatives. We’ll still stay again without hesitation.

The room was extremely clean as well as the rest of the hotel. I don't think I've ever been so impressed with the cleanliness of a hotel room before. All the staff we interacted with were exceptionally kind and welcoming. I would definitely come back and stay again. Wish we could have stayed longer. We even came back with food at night and forgot utensils but luckily at 11:00 pm we were able to easily find some in the lobby in a section made for such an event (see photo). The complimentary breakfast was very good and the attendants working to make sure the area was stocked, clean and functioning worked very hard to do so and did an excellent job.

The sheets on the beds were soft and very comfortable but the bed itself was hard and a bit uncomfortable.

Overall, we liked the room; it was clean and bright and the bed was comfortable. We also liked the front desk staff. The breakfast selections were all well-chosen and offered a fair amount of variety.

Because our room was on the second floor, overlooking the parking lot, we did experience a period of loudness during the evening around 10:00 p.m. Perhaps next time we will request a room on a higher floor, away from the parking lot. Also, we would have preferred firmer pillows; ours were a bit too soft, to the point where they needed adjustment to avoid sinking into them.

This hotel is by only about 2 years old and I was really amazed. The room was very spacious. Beds were very very comfortable. I’m going to buy me a Beauty Rest Hospitality bed just like theirs. Bathroom was much bigger than I expected. Lots of USB ports. Excellent lighting throughout and very bright. Lots of food choices for breakfast. Pork and turkey sausage, ham and cheese omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruits, cold cereal, cinnamon rolls, Danish pastries, juice, milk and variety of yogurt flavors. I also like the fact that they have quiet time 10:00pm-7:00am.

Handicap parking was located at the end of the building almost at the end of the parking lot. Handicap parking should be at the entrance!!

Cleanest hotel I’ve ever been to. Literally smelled like fresh cleaning products. Awesome location. comfortable beds. Many charging outlets. good breakfast. Nice hot shower.

Booked 3 rooms and had to be charged 3 incidental fees. If something of value breaks, you aren’t ONLY charging my card the incidental fee. It would obviously be charged the value of the item and then some, that’s why it’s a pre-auth. You have my information and hold for the room, why charge 3 times?

Loved that it’s a newer facility with modern features. The beds are very comfortable and having a hot breakfast available every morning is so convenient. The breakfast selections are always fresh and hot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We received helpful bus tips and amazing restaurant recommendations!

The shower water pressure isn’t as strong as I would like.

Updated rooms, indoor pool, location

There was a few spots on the wall on 2 different locations(one chilled paint and one was dirt maybe?) which I don’t care at all they were there, just worried they were going to think we put them there. So I took a pic of it all the day we arrived just in case. Ended up not being a problem. Overall nothing to complain about

it was very clean and the location was good for the sports complex we were playing at.

the quiet hours were a bit early for the weekend days. we traveled with a team and the girls wanted to hang out in the lobby. they were not loud and very respectful. One of the nights, the front desk staff was rude and treated us parents like children. the other staff was great.
