Hampton Inn & Suites at Lake Mary Colonial Townpark

the location inside the colonial park plaza is wonderful! it’s close to the airport. I could walk to Publix, f&d cantina, multiple restaurants, take a walk or jog with many tree covered streets. The pool area & bathrooms/pool house is quiet, beautifully landscaped & hidden. The room (king) was very clean and well thought out with hooks, kitchen appliances, and sink. the staff at the front desk were the sweetest and most customer friendly I’d seen in a long time time👍

only a few suggestions for making the stay better- working fan in the bathrooms; a bathroom door-the barn door is not a door (not sure why these are trendy- pretty but no privacy?!? I was traveling alone, not a problem this trip); the breakfast buffet needs fresh juice, eggs without cheese; lastly-even with the exceptional location, the price for a weeknight shouldn’t be $280-350. I love this place, but it’s getting hard to justify unless you allow for a much earlier checkin, or lower the price.

we were evacuating from hurricane Ian this location took our pets and made us feel very welcome. the breakfasts were hot and tasty with a great variety of options being offered (loved the oatmeal). Our room was pretty clean. overall, it was an excellent stay with a very courteous staff and clean facility

The property was located in a beautiful enclosed plaza, With a movie theater, many restaurants, Publix within walking distance. The pool was enclosed/private and although we didn’t use the pool because it was too chilly (70s) in January, we enjoy putting our feet in the hot tub and lying in the sun. The Queen double room was extremely spacious for my teen son & I. The front desk attendant was extremely helpful and very nice. The place was almost brand new… The hallways, elevators, pool, breakfast area, and entry made it feel like a Hilton versus the old Hampton inns👍

The price was a bit overcharged for that area at $170+ taxes per night in January. The shower was never really hot. Mine was just lukewarm, and I think that’s one of the most important things about a hotel. I told the manager but they “couldn’t” do anything & didn’t take anything off of our bill. also, traveling with my son I did not like the barn door concept that you now have in most rooms. it’s not a very good privacy barrier at all!

Everything was nice. The queen suite w/ sofa bed was excellent

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We had a ground-level suite, which was fantastic for our family of 4. We were in the first room so we had easy access to our car and limited encounters with other people for social distancing - which I loved. We did not take advantage of the grab-n-go breakfasts from the hotel. Our room was very comfortable.

Obnoxious guests running up and down the stairs in the middle of the night. They were very loud and completely disrespectful to sleeping guests. Not the hotel's fault but quite aggravating.

Breakfast was pretty standard. There were to-go boxes with hard boiled eggs, muffin and a yogurt. I think because of Covid they couldn't do a buffet. There were granola bars, bagels and oatmeal as an option too. The room was comfortable. There was plenty of space for all of us. The pool was really nice but we needed to request towels.

We have to use the pullout bed in the room and they did not have any extra pillows or sheets in the room to accommodate the pull out so it's annoying after traveling all day to have to walk down and get extra bedding.

The staff, but for one, were amazing. Karla, Jacqui, and the woman who was housekeeping for us, were absolutely amazing. It was very well situated for anything we wanted to do. The breakfast was good. The hotel was very clean.

my only complaint would be that the one staff member was borderline rude.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and the breakfast was great. Very nice and safe neighborhood, convenient to I-4.

The common areas could have been cleaned more often. Some trash cans were overflowing and the pool area was messy one morning.

Breakfast was fine. Location was ideal. This is not the hotel's fault but a sidewalk between the hotel and the Publix corner would make for a safer walk

Given the cost of the hotel, the internet connection should have been FREE and more importantly SECURE

Breakfast, cleanliness, proximity to walkable restaurants, close to i4.

Beds were slightly uncomfortable, a/c was loud. I think we were in a room which was in line to be upgraded
