Ocean Villas of Deerfield

Location is spot on, 3min walking distance from the beach. Also the place is very quiet and private, it really makes you feel safe and relaxed. Debbie the property manager was really helpful, she puts a lot of effort in managing the property so it runs perfectly, and she is always aware of the guest needs, definitely always willing to help people during their stay. My checkout was and 11am, so at around 10:30am I asked Debbie if I could go to beach and borrow the pool towels, it was still very early so I wanted to enjoy the rest of the day at the beach but we didn’t brought any towels and we were not going to take them without permission, especially if our stat was technically over; so Debbie approved my request and I thanked her and also let her that I was going to bring back the towels when I was done at the beach, I even offered to leave my license as an insurance but she trusted me which was even better. I returned the towels 2 hours later (the sun was blazing when we got to the beach, and then it started pouring heavy lol FL weather doesn’t surprise me anymore) and I couldn’t leave without thanking Debbie.

TV in room 17A was really bad quality. I suggest not to use the Roku brand since their Software has a lot of bugs, I couldn’t watch Netflix for a whole 30min without it kickin me out of the app, and the loading times where absolutely horrendous, it took so much time to start it up again. Also the shower head from the ceiling was really dirty, almost like it had fungus and mold on the little holes, definitely not sanitary at all. Rather than that, I give this property a 9 because there’s always room for improvement, but I would absolutely enjoy another stay here.

The beach is just 1 block to your east, and there are several places to go for (expensive) food and drinks. The beds are spacious, clean & comfortable. The kitchens have everything you could need unless you have more than 2 guests. The rain shower head with the optional hand held shower head are amazing.

The location is a bit far from many of the things to do in Ft Lauderdale. Also, the exterior of the building could use a bit of a modern touch as it is a bit rough around the edges. The water pressure could be a bit better also. Longer hours for pool use and office staff would be great.

Completely remodeled 60's Florida motel that was remarkably clean and comfortable. Beautiful pool and 1 block from a beautiful beach. There are several restaurants about 1/2 mile away. Pool towels, beach chairs and umbrellas are available and complimentary for the guests to use. Small but full kitchen with oven, stove top, toaster, microwave, coffee pot and full refrigerator/freezer. Your host and manager, Debbie, keeps the facility in perfect condition. Cant wait to return for another mini vacation. Highly recommended.

There was nothing NOT to like.

The room was very clean. Walking distance to beach,restaurants, and stores.

Debbie the manager must’ve had a bad morning. She was rude and condescending . After I asked her to be nice and polite her attitude changed for the rest of our stay. The front desk young gentleman was very nice and helpful. He accommodated us our entire stay. He was always a pleasure to talk to and ask questions. The housekeepers also were very nice and accommodating.

I thought the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The pool was just right for the size of the place and guests. Overall, the place was a very good value for the price. The public beach was across the street, not a far walk

The bad side was mostly in the kitchen. There were no paper towels, which would have helped with the cleaning. They did have a broom and dust plan. The other thing is no hot pads. If you used the oven, you had to use a towel. The manager could take a lesson in hospitality. She was very condescending to her staff and to the guests.

Really enjoyed it here. The location was awesome, a short walk to the beach, and short drive to shops and restaurants. Deerfield is a neat little place. The AC worked very well and it was nice to have the full sized fridge and stove. Everything was clean and Deb at the front desk was very friendly. Good value for the price.

The beds were definitely a bit hard for my liking, the decor is very minimal but that’s probably because it’s right by the beach and sand would get into rugs etc. The lighting was weird lol and pool closes pretty early, but all small things. We would stay again!

First the property manager Debbie is just awesome. She makes sure you know how to check in after hours, she will check on customers to make sure they have all information they may need during the stay. The rooms are very clean and updated the beds and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen comes stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The location is great with restaurants and activities close by. The beach is a very short walk. I will definitely be back. I was more than pleased with accommodations and the staff ! Also you are allowed one parking space at no extra charge.

We only stayed 1 night and we were passing through Deerfield. I was pleasantly surprised on getting into the room to find it spotless and very modern in design looks as though our room had just been refurbished. From the outside you get a very different opinion of the place. There were tea and coffee making facilities, and bath and shower products in the bathroom. The location was great a walking distance to the beach front and a short walk along the beach to a cafe. Debbie was very helpful and communicated with us throughout our booking process, up until the night of our travel. This made access to our room late at night less stressful, and this was very much appreciated. We would book again.

We arrived very late in the evening and struggled to find anywhere local to eat, instead of driving to a nearby McDonalds etc... this not being their fault. The wifi wasn't that good for us, we struggled to get a connection. As it was late and dark we also struggled to find the place as the external signage wasn't lit.

Really great location, across the road (A1A) from the beach where there were lavatories and lifeguards. Our room was a small room with kitchenette with large fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, all utensils/dinner ware/glasses/pots and pans etc. The only thing missing was a stove/cooktop which we did not need as we were only there for a few days, although there is an outdoor grill for all to use. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated with a nice closet storage system; bathroom was awesome with a rain showerhead and a lighted mirror! Looks like it was recently redone and/or painted. Little kitchen table with 2 chairs. Nice tv, Wi-Fi was excellent. Towels and sheets provided and there is weekly maid-service to clean up the room, change sheets, etc. Cleaning staff are there every day to provide clean towels and take your garbage if needed. Pool was very nice, lots of lounge chairs and a little putting green! Parking can be a little difficult, but we managed and really did not have a problem, always found a spot on the property and we walked every chance we could. Although located on A1A, it was pretty quiet at night. We were able to walk up to most bars and restaurants - take the boardwalk and walk along the ocean, beautiful and you don't have to worry about the traffic. Check-in and check-out very quick and efficient. All in all, a great stay, definitely would return again and we just might in 2023.

Nothing really. Maybe more parking and possibly a more affordable price. Really don't have too many negatives. A nice, basic place to stay.

Spacious studio, convenient space with kitchen and a walk-in closet, walking distance to the beach, and VERY clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Wonderful location!

I am allergic to cigarette smoke and unfortunately, the smoke from the person smoking outdoors next door got into my room (doors and windows closed). People were not following quiet hours, there was a group of kids (with their parents) who were screaming in the pool from 5 pm to past 11 pm.
