Holiday Inn Express & Suites Naples Downtown - 5th Avenue, an IHG Hotel

The common areas of the hotel are a little outdated but it smells fresh and clean -no musty odor which was very refreshing The room was immaculate with lots of towels, pillows, and comfortable beds The decor of the rooms themselves is more modern and very nice, with a little fridge and even a microwave in the room Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast with lots of hot and cold options Location is just a 15 min walk from the Naples hot spot and also a quick ride to beaches

The hallways etc could be redecorated but honestly that’s it the hotel is very nice and welcoming; the energy is good there

The pool was great. Although, it felt cramped being lodged with so many people in it. The room was comfortable, the beds were good. My family and I slept well. The staff was nice and the people were friendly. The breakfast tasted nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Our bathroom wasn't in good condition. Specifically, the toilet. I had to go downstairs twice and ask for a plumber to help unclog the toilet. On our last day the Breakfast vicinity was too crowded that we had to go and have eat at a local restaurant.

I didn't understand some of the negative comments about this property. It was well maintained. The rooms were spacious, with clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Very convenient located near the main attractions in town without costing a leg an an arm. I will stay here again if visiting Naples.

My room faced the pool and in the first two days there was a very low music playing in the background all night long. It didn't bother me much. I wanted to report to the front desk but always forgot. I believe was the outdoor speakers that were left with music on but not sure. It stopped in the weekend.

It was very clean everywhere in hotel and smelled clean and fresh. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our room had a large rollout desk and chair which was perfect for spreading out paperwork and doing some work. The city view was pleasant overlooking the pool area, and the complimentary breakfast was a very nice surprise of very fresh items, including yogurt and fruits, fresh bagels, toast, and pastries, and the hot items were perfect. breakfast area was continuously kept in a clean state. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Excellent hotel in Naples. Walking distance to 5th Avenue and downtown. Nice room and comfy beds. Very good pool with plenty of sunbeds. We almost had the pool for ourselves. Friendly staff and very good breakfast. Enough free parking.

High price on articles for sale in the looby, beer and other beverages

I loved the location of the hotel. The breakfast was awesome. Slightly better than the usual continental breakfast. The staff kept the food replenished and the selection was larger than other hotels. I also enjoyed the pancake machine.

The bathroom floor was stained, the tub was small and the window was sealed shut. Also, the tiki bar wasn't open at the pool and at times it was crowded (check in, breakfast).

2nd time here. Excellent as ever. Renovations to pool area along with new Tiki bar were apprecated. Reception and room keeping staff were polite and efficient. Included Breakfast a bonus along with all day tea coffee and cookies. Will almost certainly be back.

The building site across the road was a bit noisey but did not spoil our stay.

The location was great, breakfast was varied each day. Staff was helpful. Pool was clean and well maintained. Good facilities. Would recommend.

This location is quite difficult to get in and out of. We almost missed it coming in. Impossible to turn left out of the main drive. You have to use the Olive Garden parking lot to turn left. There are 3 or 4 businesses all using the same parking area although it is fairly well signed. I know nothing can be done now...just poor planning at the outset. Oh well, not the worse thing to have to deal with.

The staff were on the ball and the location is pretty good for the downtown area. The hotel was a lot better than I expected considering the Express is not the top of the chain in the IHG line up. Its a lot better value for money than its competition. Its clean an functional and the beds are comfortable.

Its a bit dated and gets a loot of traffic and you can see its a bit worn in areas

I didn’t like that ice was only on the third and first floors. That’s too damn far to go when you’re drinking and could potentially be drunk and get lost in the hotel or worse, stumble and hit your noggen.
