Naples Grande Beach Resort

The front desk staff were exceptional, the staff overall in the hotel were great. The room was clean and spacious and the oversized balcony was definitely a plus!

We ordered in-room dining for breakfast and the first morning it seemed like the food was sitting for days out. The food is priced too high in comparison for what we are receiving. I wish the hotel really went by its name as a beach resort because it doesn’t really have anything “beach friendly” you either have to walk 15-20 minutes to a non private beach or wait an exuberant amount of time for the shuttle in order to leave the beach because of the non hotel guests. No one abides by the wristband policy as “VIP” it is not. It’s a shame that we had to leave the property to go to a different beach resort in order to enjoy water activities as a resort claiming to be a beach resort should have.

Signature suite not so “Signature” - needs MAJOR upgrades, including the indoor and outdoor furnishings, dating back to the Registry Resort Hotel. Also former suite deck landscaping is missing. Bring back the bougainvilleas! The hotel suites were designed for plantings so that maintenance was easy.

The family pool was very good with a slide and a little kids area. The hotel is pretty close to a number of restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel and the pool restaurant are really good and have many options. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The staff is pleasant and the service is good.

The ocean views are obstructed and partial. We purchased an upgrade to a double balcony with gulf view and I just realized while looking at hotel pictures that either all balconies are the same or they moved us at check in to a regular one. The front desk person was very kind and he mentioned he gave us a "signature gulf view" on the highest floors. I assume we got a good view which was still far and partially obstructed with buildings, so don't think it's worth the upgrade. The beach is a little far, which makes the pool the best option, so it was really crowded at some point.

The facility and staff were wonderful. We were treated very well and everyone was extremely helpful. Loved the staff at Oasis--Especially Perla, George & Ramona! And for the number of guests in the hotel, it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was very nice and they rotated some specialty items daily. It was very convenient to have a small fridge and a keurig in our room.

Last few days of our stay we had no hand towels or washcloths in our room after housekeeping came through. I had to go get them. Not a huge issue, but wouldn't have expected that since we were tipping our housekeeping staff daily. Would have been nice to have a small microwave in the room.

Would have liked to have different choices of food when it came to lunch and dinner. The Aura had excellent food. But it was the same small menu every lunch and dinner. I'm sure the Catch of the Pelican has delicious food, and we would have liked to try it, but the prices kept us away. Maybe changing the menus on different days? We did eat outside by the pool as well as down at clam pass. Both were very good.

Location was great. Beach and tram to beach worked great.

Lots of people and families who were not staying at the hotel came on site during the weekend and used the hotel pool and beach. We saw these people walking off the premises at the end of the day. They made the pool and beach unpleasantly crowded and noisy for the people who were actually paying to stay there. Hotel needs to get better security checks in place to make sure only guests are using pool and beach. Right now, anyone can walk in and they do.

We loved the layout of the pool and outside area. It was well maintained and lively and all the amenities with out being STUFFY!!!! It was perfect . We loved the tiki bar the lunch the service and the pool layout. We also had fabulous massages and their spa was great as well! We thought the hotel was very accommodating and have not ONE complaint. Finally a hotel that caters to you without you feeling like you owe them your first born! I will be back!!!!!!!!!! Well done.

Property is beautiful and clean. Pools are nice but challenging to get beach chairs. Room was nice size and very clean, balcony was large however signature view room is still only partial view of ocean because of setback and other buildings. Beautiful, clean beach and water.

Food was suboptimal for such an expensive hotel - breakfast and lunch options very limited and served in plastic to-go containers. No place for lunch where its served on plates except for very expensive brunch at the one restaurant and only on weekends. Be careful with renting cabanas on beach, they very deceptively let you think the cabana is $25, then we found out its actually $189 per day because the lounge chairs inside the cabana are charged separately - the signage at the beach seems to intentionally not make it clear and doesnt list the $150 for the lounge chairs inside the cabana.

Location

No room when everything in Florida is open to 100% capacity. Restaurant only open for breakfast. No diversity for food. Pool no food diversity. Extremely limited non healthy food. Inside bar open with only a few Asian snacks. So, basically very little food, that forced you to dine elsewhere except for breakfast.

Beautiful elegant resort. several places/options to sit through our the resort. The boardwalk to the beach is amazing...the shuttle is helpful but not necessary to take to the beach unless your unable to walk or have children with lots of items to carry. The gelato aervwd in the hotels cafe is phenomenal. All the staff is super kind and friendly the foreigners who work at the property are very kind. The American staff that works at the front desk and at the hotel bar are miserable and very unpleasant. Other than that great place to stay spa is amazing but the women who work the front desk are very snobby and not friendly.
