This hotel is like a small retreat. It's a good place to just relax which we did prior to our cruise. Having a kitchen is a plus, parking is available (we didn't need it), and it was a good price! The pool is pretty but we didn't use it.

Well, the AC is a window model and it blew directly on the bed. It's noisy and made it difficult for us to sleep. The toilet flushed slowly and inefficiently. It's 2 stories, we were on the 2nd floor and had to carry our luggage (2...48 lb. suitcases) up & down the stairs & we're in our 70s!.

Great location, proximity to beach, restaurants, pharmacy, food mart etc. , and all walking distance. Felt very safe and people extremely friendly. Room accommodations were a bonus…a little outdated but extremely clean. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would return in a heartbeat and would 100% recommend …don’t hesitate to book…great value considering what’s offered in close proximity. Special shout-out to Agnes for her availability in answering any questions, concerns, and her sense of professionalism.

Loved every bit of our stay!

Such a quaint little private hideaway with tropical plants and a nice quiet pool. Front ad back balconies in our room was lovely. Laundry machines on property. Short walk to the beach. I walked over for sunrise daily. Staff was so nice and on property, always tidying up.

Could update the tv to smart tvs, maybe add box fans to the rooms. The ac worked, but being July, it was a little hot still without the faan I bought. Lights outside are bright, so the room didn't get very dark for sleeping. Bring a sleep mask if that bothers you!

Close to the beach and price was good for being in Fort Lauderdale. Staff was friendly.

It was so bright outside and no blinds (only drapes) so the room was bright and I had trouble sleeping every night. Could be updated a little more.

Green Island was amazing. The property is rustic, beautiful, peaceful, and amazingly quiet. My husband and I stayed here during a quick getaway and will stay here again if we come back. The sheets on the bed were some of the SOFTEST sheets I've ever slept on, and the bed was super comfortable. We had everything we needed in the room, and the little seating outside each room was a nice touch as I spent a lot of time out there listening to the rain at night. The room entrance faced the courtyard, but we also had a backdoor that led to the pool area, which was convenient.Staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. For the value, this is an excellent place to stay! Highly recommend and hated leaving.

I was treated very nicely by receptionist and all the staff except one employee who lives in Unit 12. The one maintenance man actually was on the phone with Comcast for almost an hour to get my cable box working as I had no TV when I first arrived. He got it working! He was very patient and friendly too! The room was very clean and comfortable. The maid was also very friendly and a really hard worker. I would definitely stay again! EXCELLENT LOCATION TO THE BEACH AND CENTALLY LOCATED TO ALL HIGHWAYS AND NEARBY RESTAURANTS.

The employee who lives in unit 12 was mean-spirited and seems to have a complex. The neighbors next to me had a screaming child that I heard from the car when I arrived. I was bringing in my luggage and water and asked if this was going to proceed all night as I hadn't slept since the night before last. This employee had no compassion for me, a tired guest, and was only concerned about the neighbor and the whining child. He was rude and extremely authoritarian. I made sure he knew I would have none of that.

This was a great place. We overlooked the courtyard and pool. a 2 block walk to the beach to watch the sunrise was a beautiful start to the morning! The rooms were cozy with chairs outside overlooking the pool. We could share a cup of coffee with our friends in the morning without waking others up.

We arrived late so it was challenging to find how to get to our room even though the manager talked to us before we arrived to tell us a little more. It was a little like hide and seek to find a gate that would open without a code and then discover where our room was.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff was very friendly they make you feel like family. They were very helpful we ran into some issues with our rental car at the airport, so they accommodated us with a late check in, they made a stressful night into a relaxing one. The location is also not to far from the beach, and I enjoyed the pool. Plus they had a full size kitchen. This place is an amazing value for the area.

Honestly nothing the property was amazing. The property is a little older, however it feels very cozy and tropical. This place is truly a hidden gem. You may see a few iguanas running around. but that's true for all the Florida area. I thought they were cool my wife not so much.

The room was great, it felt more like a pied-a-terre than a hotel room. The greenery made it feel like a real oasis. It was my wifes birthday and the staff had a card, chocolates and a balloon for her when we got there. Its wasnt requested but it meant a lot!!

We didn't need any assistance, but it was odd that there was no staff there on the weekend in case we needed them. There was a staff member who was there Saturday morning for me to sign the necessary paperwork and he was great
