Hilton Garden Inn Gainesville

Really nice breakfast. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Excellent amenities: parking, pool, refrigerator, garden, small bar w/food.

All was very good except location. Archer Road is congested and hotel was a little difficult to find. But it was quite and east to get to places within the area.

The staff was AWESOME! Our stay was the best. Deija (night shift) and "Just" Steve (day shift) need a raise or a promotion! We will definitely be back. Cedrick (morning shift) was super sweet and attentive! I have NOTHING poor to say. Everyone was absolutely awesome and the pool was clean and clear, our room was cozy and if we needed anything they would be right there with whatever we needed. We will be back to stay!

My family and I specifically liked the staff. Staff members would greet people anytime they would pass by and would let guests in the elevators in before they went it (if they even went in with the guest inside the elevator). They were also very patient and thoughtful. The room was clean and nice as well.

Nothing in particular. If there was anything to say it is that the gardening outside the hotel wasn't very taken care of. Some bushes were completely dead which made an odd contrast with the amount of lively nature around the inn.

Location is great. The room was huge (handicap accessible bathroom, which wasn't ordered). We booked a king room, but they gave us a king room that was meant for handicapped individuals with a wheelchair. Clearly that room was created especially well for anyone with a wheelchair. Plenty of space to turn around and move around the room and enormous bathroom.

The door to the room requires strong arms to open. Getting in is easy, just lean your entire body against the door and push with your legs. Getting out, you will need some serious arm strength to open that door. My wife could not open it at all. Also, don't forget to order housekeeping service the day before you need it or the room will not be serviced at all. You will have to make your own bed as they will only empty garbage and replace towels.

The room was clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was pleasant. The location was good, it it had only a very small sign near the entrance making it a bit awkward finding it on arrival.

We called Hilton as to whether they were serving hot breakfast or just grab-and-go meals. The Hilton representative said that he called the hotel directly to ask about breakfast. He said it was grab-n-go only. On arrival, the woman at the front desk said that they'd been serving a hot breakfast for the past week. Nearly double the price for breakfast if we had booked our room with breakfast.

While I enjoyed my stay, we had to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes because they couldn't find our reservation?. Then when I got tho our room, I checked my bank account (as I always do) and found they had double charged me for the $50 incidental charge they require? So another stop back to the front desk!!

Parking is ridiculous and the handicapped parking is as far from the front door as you can get ( in favour of diamond club members)!! I understand they should get priority.... But the handicapped guests should be right next to them!!. Then you have the jerk who parks his huge (obviously new pick up truck) crosswise across three spaces right by the front door!!!. Lovely hotel.... But not sure I'll stay here again!!!

Clean smell and the personnel at the front desk. The extra mile they went to accommodate my son's medical needs. Providing us with an early check in time and the location of the room on the first floor really support our needs.

That our visit was not of leisure but for medical reasons. We will return soon.

I was there for my nieces graduation and it was close to the venue.

The price of the room for one night was $442 which is tremendous price gouging. I have stayed in Hilton Garden inn before but they do not provide services to justify that high price.

the breakfast buffet was pricey and lacking. the eggs were old (dried out) and the sausage was overcooked. the person seating people was excellent.

I am a member of Hilton Honors and because I used booking.com they didn't recognize my membership .

NOT INFORMED AT CHECK-IN OF DAILY $50 FEE FOR DAMAGES, ETC. H20 TAKES A LONG TIME TO GET HOT; WASTED H20 / $$'S TO HOTEL. FOR THE PRICE FOR THE ROOM I WAS SATISFIED.
