Super 8 by Wyndham Gainesville

We changed our hotel at the last minute because this place had much better reviews and I'm so glad we did! All the staff were friendly and helpful. We got in late and had no problems. Everything was pretty clean. The lobby had popcorn, lemonade and breakfast each day, even on Thanksgiving. It was close to everything, so pretty convenient to get around Gainesville. The room was nice and ac worked well. New flooring. Bed was pretty comfortable and there was a mini fridge and microwave. Most of the room had been updated especially the bathroom. The price was affordable. Kid friendly. Rooms open into the hallway so no street noise or cold air getting in. We will totally look into staying again when we visit our daughter.

The back door with easy access to the parking lot was locked due to Covid, so you could only go out. We had to walk to the front each time to get in. You can tell they are doing renovations, base boards were exposed and such, but it didn't take too much away from the things that they have replaced. The hot water didn't get too hot or stay warm for long, but it was cold out too.

The price was just about the best you could expect to find anywhere and it was right in the middle of much more expensive hotels... I can't say that those didn't offer more but for the life of me I can't imagine how. It was clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. The staff were all so very helpful with directions and ideas.

There is nothing I didn't like.

Located right off I-75 but very quiet. Lots of nearby restaurants from McDonalds to a Whole Foods. Staff was friendly and efficient. Recently renovated rooms with comfortable beds and very nice bathroom.

$100 credit card hold is announced at the front desk but not in the fine print or conditions here on this website (something other properties do). I really don't like that kind of a surprise. Will not return.

It was good. Room was ok. Beds were good. I loved the sink in the bathroom. Coffee was available but I didn't like it. Was very weak. Breakfast was good. Had biscuit and gravy and waffles.

Coffee wasn't great. My husband didn't like the shower. He couldn't adjust the shower head.

Breakfast was decent and simple. Waffles=A+ as well as eggs. No cereal?

No reentry to the back door but the motel/hotel wasn't too big so the front and back door aren't far apart. A dirty towel was left behind the bathroom door hanging up upon arrival

We love the area, we come once a year for the expo in Williston. We wont stay anywhere else.

The price for the room when up alot. I booked months out and thought I got a good deal. But a friend of mine booked a few weeks before and paid less than I did. That upset me.

The room was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Clearly the bathrooms have been updated and were sparkling. This hotel is located roughly five minutes from everything you need (stores, restaurants, I-75).

The shower water pressure was extraordinarily low, which was challenging, but let's hope that was just a fluke.

Staff was friendly, good breakfast options, comfy beds, laminate flooring, pillows were ok, parking lot was well lit, good prices

A little run down & dated, a/c did not keep the room super cool, towels were terrible, rooms smelled a little stuffy at first

The location of the room was excellent and it was a handicap room which we needed since my wife is now using a walker. We were surprised at how good the breakfast was for the money we spent for the room.

Our room did not have a closet but it did have a place to hang some clothes so we were happy.

It was clean and very easy to get to off I 75 people were very nice they didn’t have a handicap room so they gave me a upgrade for same price and on first floor enjoyed our stay very much
