The Palms Inn & Suites Miami, Kendall, FL

The room had everything we needed. It was centrally located for us. We were close to friends that lived nearby and there were restaurants and businesses nearby if we needed anything. The room was clean and the staff did a great job even with all our stuff around to maintain it every day. We were there for 9 nights. The included breakfast was lovely with a few hot options, which I really appreciated. My husband loved the waffle maker and made good use of it. There were always Eggs, a potato dish option and usually meat (sausage or harm etc). There was oatmeal with lots of options to top it off. Several other bread options. Juices, coffees, tea...plenty to choose from. The pool was very clean and well maintained and for us very quiet when we used it. There was an area for sitting outside which we didn't utilize but was lovely and there is a beautiful area there for walking along the water with a little bridge. It connected to other restaurants and businesses. Great place for a little early morning walk. This hotel may be a little dated in some areas but the staff are outstanding. From rushing out with an umbrella for us during a rainstorm to mailing some postcards for us. I loved their genuine vibe of care and concern for their guests. We would absolutely stay at The Palm Inn and Suites again. Thank you for such a positive experience.

My husband would have liked a few weights in the work out room but that's on him. Silly man for working out while on vacation :)

EXELENT LOCATION 5 minuts from lots of stores and resturant breakfast is ok - ( must replace the spot of the cieial -secial K to the real one-thats upset me- i eat only this because no sugar added - but in the spot they fill with somrthing else. but there is inaf choices for breakfast.

the shower prusure OMG its so slow i thoght its for saving money on water:)) but it take to long to shower with law prusure tha instade of taking 5-10 minuts shower it take more then that and it is necessary in hotel and in this hot weather . ALAVATER VERY SLOW FOR 4 FLOOR HOTEL ITS ALWAYS 5 - 7 MINUTS WAIT -REALY SO ANNOYING ,

The hotel is just lovely, the staff are amazingly warm and welcoming, the staff at the front desk are always greeting you with a smile whether it be day or night. The dining room staff are helping every guest to please everyone's taste buds. The outside grounds are kept clean and are always being maintained. Our rooms were kept clean on a daily basis and housekeeping did a spectacular job. I probably could have saved a few dollars by going to a different hotel but I just don't believe I could have received the hospitality and wonderful service at any other place than the palms inn and suites. I tip my hat to all of the great employees that keep this Grand hotel going they are such an asset to this property. Thanks to all of the employees for making our 5-day vacation such a pleasure. God bless all and hopefully we will be back again soon.

Our room was big and very comfy. The bed was perfect, everything was clean and the lake view from the bed was very nice. We loved the location, you could walk to the restaurants across the small lake and the area seemed very safe. Plenty free parking spots in front of the hotel. The place is perfect, if you like it a bit quieter but also want to be close to Miami or as a starting point for a trip to Key West. We can highly recommend this place. We loved the cat in the lobby 😻

We didn't like the room fragrance spray, but we just unplugged it. The breakfast area was way too cold for us.

The friendliness and care of the staff. The breakfast was also good, much better than I’ve had recently in hotels. it obviously won’t be 5 star restaurant quality, but it was good. The rooms were nice and clean. Reasonably priced, this is a great option for people looking to access the Everglades and Key Largo. Glad we chose this hotel.

Our room was unfortunately across from the elevator, so it could get noisy especially depending on the guests. There was one night where we had guests mistakenly try to get into our room, screaming and laughing the whole time. Also, it would be nice to have an eco friendly option for saving towels while staying at the hotel.

great location, great breakfast choices, comfortable beds, microwave and refrigerator was a plus. close to mall and plenty of restaurants to chose from.

although we enjoyed our stay. we feel the place needs some improvements. for one, the rugs need better cleaning as it smelled musty at first. the bathroom and shower needs to be a bit upgraded as it looked aged,but it was clean. the sink and vanity were outside of bathroom right near entrance of room opposite of bathroom door. ( never experienced a sink outside a bathroom) no real privacy. The lobby was nice but the hallways were dark and gloomy. it can use more lighting. the staff were friendly and courteous. it’s a great location with many stores to shop in a mini mall right next to it. The pool was clean (just a few bugs in it, but that can’t be helped considering all the trees) breakfast was great. (waffle maker was the best) .

Nice Inn Hotel, clean and quiet . Location was great , close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very basic and simple , but kids loved to make their own waffles

The cleaning lady on our floor (4th floor) was not very friendly , we said hello a few times , but nothing coming back (it could have been a language barrier , but at least a quick eye contact when passing by in the hall) . Also one of our daughter's small plush toys was lost when she was making the beds , we asked in the laundry room downstairs , but it hasn't been seen . Kind of a big deal for our daughter, so it put us off a little and made us be more careful in future.

Bathrooms could use a touch up and carpet looked dirty. It was overall a great stay!

Rugs

The hotel is conveniently located for my work in Kendall. And while the rooms are not plush 4/5 star hotels, the staff's positive and professional attitude is fantastic more than compensates for the difference. The cleanliness and housekeeping staff are first class - Better than most 4/5 star hotels anyway. The location has dining, shopping, and any other store you may need while only 15 mins from the airport. And most importantly, it feels safe. The hotel is priced right for the general material condition of the hotel.

The elevator and rooms could use upgrades.

The location was good for us in that it was close to the Everglades and fairly close to Miami South Beach where we visited and conveniently placed for going south to the Keys. Car parking: It was never a problem to find a place day or night. It was well within walking distance for nearby restaurants (good choice) and shops. The facilities for a hotel as well priced as this were very good. We made regular use of the pool.

For the price it is difficult to say what could have been better. Breakfast area was a little cramped, but always manageable. Room was comfortable and quiet.
