AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Dadeland

Ordered food a few times from the Resturant Generally good value except for the Mini chicken empanadas priced at $13.99, it is a rip off!!! Did not expect 4 very small items, the size of wontons! Compared with the chicken tenders at $14.99 ( just $1 more) which is a decent sized meal. Checked in on Saturday, housekeeping never serviced the room on Sunday. I requested toweled etc Another day they forgot to replace coffee and cups. This has happened in the past during a previous stay They were very apologetic and subsequently provided the items. Gym facility is excellent! Exceeded my expectations Person ( young man) on duty when I checked in on Saturday afternoon was very good , friendly, professional and helpful

Modern and clean, located within the walking distance from metrolink station. Very good breakfast and free car park.

Shower with very low pressure and mind of its own - water changes randomly from hot to freezing cold. On arrival we were not given any information unless we explicitly asked for it- e.g. we had breakfast included in our booking but weren’t told where it is served and what time it starts at, we weren’t asked if we want daily housekeeping, weren’t told that $40 deposit for incidentals is being taken along with the payment etc. Even when we asked specific questions the staff would only answer with yes or no and had to be probed to get more info. It was a painful experience.

Hotel seemed very new and fresh. One floor is a great room with cool in/outdoor bar, work and lounging spaces, and a bar list of food - we ordered 2 appetizers - delicious. Our room was also satisfactory.

I arrived to check in after 5:00 and the front desk said none were ready (I had 2 reserved). They seemed unclear about why and when they would be ready. Then, one suddenly became available. The check-in process requires 2 steps: pull up to lobby, then drive into a shopping mall parking lot to park in the third level. Finally, the shower dripped and I couldn’t find a hairdryer in the bathroom.

the property is new and has convenient self parking and property is also clean, easy online check in and check out is also easy.Everyday they do house keeping.There is a dadeland mall attached to the hotel, so if you come hungry you can directly go to the food court in mall and can do shopping.Macys is right near the hotel.

They have European style breakfast but there are no buffet options for hot foods except some European style breads and quiches, we expected to have something like waffle, potato side dish,sausages and egg items in buffet, every time we need to go and tell the lady in charge to order scrambled eggs or omelette otherwise they don’t care about the guests. coffee is also not good, it’s Starbucks but if we pour the milk it becomes cold to drink.

Didn’t have breakfast at the property. But had dinner. Good service and relaxing ambiance at the pool terrace.

I arrived late at night and my room wasn’t ready, due to unexpected situation with cleaning employees. Had to wait but was resolved. That night manager personally and diligently solved it. I really missed courtesy water bottles inside the room.

Very nice hotel , rooms are clean and the beds are great. there are plenty of restaurants around !! The staff was very helpful and always willing to help/guide. Overall it is a very nice hotel for sleeping over.

The location is pretty far from Miami main attractions/beach. it is 30-40min+ drive. The air condition at nigh stop working ( we had 2 rooms - both us and the kids woke up every night few time to 'force' it to work).

Loved it! Stayed here passing through to Key West. The location was great. It was a little tricky due to some construction but it is centrally located to shopping and restaurants. The room was very modern and sleek. The entire property was very clean, the staff was friendly and there were lots of elevators that never left you waiting. We had a few drinks at the bar. The bar tender was friendly and informative. The only negative was the bathroom. The sliding door was very modern and neat but left very little privacy. Modest travelers may have an issue with this. The door never completely closes. Overall I would highly recommend staying here! I will certainly stay again when in Miami!

Best location

The best rooms are the pool view ones as they also come with a sunset view. The other ones face the high rise car park which means anyone can look in. Especially at night. So curtains have to be kept closed most of the time. Not a big problem but something to be aware of. Also even though the property was very clean, there was a small German cockroach in the shower.

the bar! Jocelyn was the best bartender I’ve ever had, and the food was amazing! The lady that checked me in was also really really fantastic.

The public areas smelled super strong of artificial air fresheners (I’m allergic to those scents) but then my room smelled quite musty which was surprising considering it’s a newer hotel.

New hotel with good facilities. Close to the mall and restaurants. Breakfast was good and fresh. People who are running the breakfast really put in effort. We also had to change room cause of some noisy neighbors (connecting door) which was no problem at all. Front desk staff really helped out. Nice practical gym as well.

At checking out they charged us the breakfast although it was included. Obviously it was corrected.
