Moxy Miami South Beach

Loved the pools. Loved location. Loved facilities, accessibility to restaurants and bars. Loved the pool theme in elevators. Loved use of bikes. Hotel was clean, very cute. Bed was super comfy. Check in and check out process so easy. Daily check ins via text by Moxy to see how we were doing and asking for tips to improve our stay. Food was pretty good. Continental coffee availability. I guess I could say mostly what I loved was amenities and facilities.

I think staff service could be a bit better. Wasn’t awful, just also wasn’t very attentive. We had trouble connecting our phone to stream to tv, called and staff rushed us off phone, hung up on us before we finished talking and said he would send the “tech specialist” to help us, but no one came. No biggie though. Most times when we saw staff they were in their phones watching videos, rarely smiled or acknowledged us. Bar staff was great. Also didn’t like how 2nd floor room window if curtain open people walking along pool or restaurant walkway could see clearly in our room. So we had to keep it closed whole stay.

The decor, vibe and style of the hotel are amazing. The pools and location were great. The food and drink at the restaurants are tasty.

Some of the staff at check in , the bar and restaurant weren’t very friendly or warm or accommodating. There’s no place to unpack and place your clothes.

I love the location, This is my 2nd time, staying at the Moxy South Beach, very beautiful and elegant. I travel to all Moxy Hotels,over the world. South Beach was one my favorites, but this 2nd time around, I felt different. SOFIA WAS SO AWESOME AND SWEET! (CHECK IN) NICOLE AS WELL!!! AWESOME SPIRIT!!!

The staff in TIENDITA CAFÉ messed up our orders multiple times. The gentleman was a bit rude. The young lady, who worked at fixing it, was great about it. Her attitude was calm and understanding. The gentlemen went to grab spoons and never bought it to me, I wasted ten dollars on yogurt.

I cant wrap my brain around why they dont tell u about their AWESOME rooftop pool and bar! Id much rather use this during the day as opposed to the second floor pool. They also only have the rooftop bar open at 4 i think thats a huge mistake on their part esp on the weekend. Needs to open at 11 or 12 and play awesome music. They had music just wasnt what id expect. To be at the roof top bar and go to the second floor everytime u want a drink makes ZERO sense!

The pool was nice, it was great that they came around with free ice cream. The distance to the beach was good too (didn’t like that it was $20 for an umbrella). Emily at the 2nd floor pool was very sweet. Phillipo and Rafael at the bar were AMAZING!! The hotel gives you tokens for free Prosecco upon checking which is thoughtful. The shower in the room was really nice.

I knew based off reviews I read that the rooms would be small, but they were way smaller than expected, it was claustrophobic. I have bruises from bumping into the furniture. I’d only stay here again if I was traveling by myself and even then I’m not so sure because of the cost per night. The front desk service was a little slow, but they were friendly which made up for it. The grab n go cafe in the lobby was way overpriced… $9 for a plain small iced coffee? And that was the only food option until 12pm, so the breakfast options very very limited.

The vibe and aesthetic of the hotel were great! The beds were comfy and clean. While the room did not come with a fridge automatically, we were able to request one to be brought to the room for no additional charge. The shower was very spacious (while I think they could have forgone the shower size to provide more space in the rooms). All the staff was very friendly and helpful and checking in went very smoothly. The bar also makes REALLY GOOD espresso martinis! I would definitely stay here again, just maybe with only 2 people in a room.

Other reviewers were not kidding: the rooms are EXTREMELY small; definitely way too small for 4 girls to stay comfortably, especially when each of us was traveling with a large suitcase. I was also a little disappointed we weren't able to get adjoining rooms, but they were at least able to put our two rooms kiddy-corner from one another, which we were grateful for.

My new husband and I just barely returned from a wonderful Miami honeymoon at the Moxy! We loved the fact that we didn't even need to leave the hotel to have fun! The upside was our favorite with that view... so gorgeous and fun. Serena was delicious and had a beautiful ambience. The pool was fun and relaxing with great music. The whole design and fun art throughout the hotel was a plus! The central location was great because we could walk everywhere and all at a decent price. We will definitely be back!

It was hard not having a mini fridge for leftovers or drinks. The sliding door to the bathroom didn't offer alot of privacy.

Everything is new and clean, everything smells nice when you walk into the hotel, nice facilities, especially pool and the rooftop! Friendly staff, they greet you with a glass of free Prosecco at the checkin. Nice location, walkable distance to the beach, where you get a free chair at the Moxy designated area, but you pay extra for an umbrella.

The rooms are TINY and probably not worth the value. There is no space to keep your things, not convenient if you are staying longer than couple of days. You only get hangers, but no desk/chair, Also no mini fridge, no complementary bottle of water.

They gave us an early check in upon availability without charge which was amazing for me, being with 2 small kids it made all the difference for us so thanks! The hotel was great, friendly staff, great facilities, loved the design, amazing rooftop and yummy breakfast place as well

If the restroom was smaller and instead there was a decent closet that would have helped, it sounds unimportant but at the end all our clothes were on the floor
