Viscay Hotel

Location is amazing, directly close to the central point of Ocean drive and close to the beach. Supermarket and a lot of restaurants around,easy reachable by walking. The room was big, like a small apartment with everything you need. The people from the reception and the staff were really friendly. Really beautiful stay, we are definetely coming back next year.

Not much, only the coffee machine was a bit old and couldn't be used because it was a bit calcified. Would be great in the next visit to have it working, to be able to drink a coffee directly after waking up ;)

An exceptional hotel right in the heart of South Beach. One block from Ocean Drive, walkable to all sights. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet, however outside on the street can get noisy at night. No breakfast offered, but proximity to all restaurants/cafes/coffee shops make this a non issue. Brilliant value for money!

My hotel stay was 4 days and I would stay again. 1. Location. One block from beach. Very close walking distance to 24 hr CVS, restaurants, bars, cafés. Can walk just about anywhere, even to Lincoln Road Mall if physically able. 2. King studio room was roomy and clean. Has kitchenette, dining area, closet, sitting area. 3. Hotel decor gives an "older" feel. This 80's baby appreciated the nostalgia 😊. Noise level. The level of noise was NOT an issue for me even with my room facing the front of the hotel. Yes, there is crowd and car noises but it didnt disturb my rest. Just keep in mind that this hotel is close to the main strip where there can be high levels traffic and noise inevitable. Also, I did not encounter any noise issues from within the hotel. Pack you ear plugs just in case.

1. Lack of tv programs. Bring your Roku or Firestick. 2. Front desk availability. Ask for extra towels, soap, washcloths, toilet paper, etc when you check in.

centrally located. excellent staff. personable and accommodating. spacious room. a walk in storage / closet with shelves, hangers and a suitcase stand. definitely enough space to store clothes for 2 people. there is also a drawer which was unused, microwave (does not make noise) and fridge, AC , and a hair dryer, plenty of towels, beach towels available, and option for daily house keeping. they store luggage without charge if you arrive early and /or after check out.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's not a fancy hotel, but it's perfect for the location and the price you pay. The location is absolutely amazing, as you are in the middle of Miami Beach and it's just a 2 minutes walk to the ocean. Can definitely recommend this place.

The locks of the doors a very simple (quite old I believe), so I did not feel like our things were very "safe". However this I fine if you don't travel with expensive things. That was the only thing that could use improvement.

The Owner, Peter, and manager, Lewis, were both most accommodating and helpful. Very respectful and informative also. The location is excellent for both, a walk to the beach (very short distance) and the night life right outside the door, all while the rate was very reasonable! The facility was kept very well, rooms were comfortable and clean. We will definitely return the next time we're in South Beach.

If they ever were to remodel, putting balcony's on the second floor rooms would be awesome. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear muffs; the night life goes on very late, past 3:00am. Other than the Wi-Fi being a little weak and the cable TV not so good, everything was great, but who goes to South Beach to watch TV in a Hotel room, huh?

Maybe because there is no lift for use on suitcases/luggages at least. A nice breakfast will be a big bonus or at least a GOOD coffee station and a few chairs outside in the front building.

I really liked the property and it’s location. The staff was generous and accommodating. I would probably stay here again.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was that it didn’t have a bar 😂. But that’s a personal preference.

Hotel is situated centrally on South Beach, a couple of blocks over from the beach. We unknowingly booked for spring break so found ourselves right in the thick of it, but sure it would be ideal any other time of the year. The guy on reception (sorry don't know name) was very welcoming and helpful, and even gave us an extra beach towel free of charge when he asked if we were going to the beach. Hotel is dated but no more so than many we have experienced travelling across Europe, so didn't bother us. Room is well equipped, plenty of towels, safety deposit box and kitchen was useful.

We could hear every movement from upstairs, and think we had a child above us running around which made our ceiling lights shake. Probably not great for light sleepers.

Location was excellent!! I was a big skeptical when I was making the booking as the reviews were mixed, but my experience met the (low) expectations. Room was very spacious- had a little kitchen attached, a walk-in closet, a decent bath, sofa and all necessary amenities. Louis on the front desk was very pleasant and helpful - gave me all instructions and guided me around. All in all - if you find this place cheaper than others around, just go ahead and book it.

Does not include breakfast nor have any in-house dining or restaurant. But soooo many options right as one steps out. One block away from Ocean drive so could get a little noisy at night but most likely you are not in Miami to go to bed at 10!
