Pelican Hotel

My friend and I had a great stay at Pelican Hotel. Every room has its own theme and we got a kick out of ours, which was boudoir-themed. There were plenty of food and drink options in the area, we had happy hour drinks every evening at the Pelican bar, and we were provided two beach towels and chairs every day. The staff (including front desk, bartenders, and housekeeping) was friendly and everything looked clean and new!

Rooms were even better than expected. The pictures don't do them justice! Service was perfect and everyone was very kind. Definitely recommend staying here! Won't be the last time we will stay at Pelican Hotel!

Roomkeeping was a bit loud in the morning as we slept in. 9am and we could hear them yelling all the way up to our room.

Location was perfect and we didn’t expect all the little extras like free mini bar daily and beach towels n loungers daily plus free cocktails at the bar daily! All the staff were so friendly too

We enjoyed part of our honeymoon at this hotel located right on the Ocean Drive. And it has been a wonderful experience. Very nice rooms, stylish, every room have its own theme and have all the amenities you need. Plus you’ll have 2 drink from a selection every day between 4 and 6 pm, and two towels and lounges at the beach. The service provided by the staff, in particular by Wendell, was top notch. He took care of us every day, really kind and professional. We ate at the restaurant (bruschette, cacio & pepe, meatballs) and, as Italians, we were really satisfied!

Excellent art deco recently refurbished hotel with unique and quirky rooms. The location was right in the middle of the action of South Beach. The bar was great. Manny and Liz on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. The provision of free beach towels and loungers and the location just moments from the beach was great. Oh, and we were treated to a free cocktail from the bar each day!

People looking for an extremely quiet and relaxing experience would probably benefit from a hotel away from Ocean Drive due to the noise of the area (but this didn’t bother me).

Everything! The Location is perfect , well appointed interior , retro , hip - but most ESPECIALLY the staff. Our 40 th Anniversary could not have been more memorable and we attributed that all to Wendell and Manny. What an asset to your property. There is nothing like having employees that represent so well - It was lovely to have complimentary Aperol Spritz daily , access to wonderful dining - we had a beautiful view, comfy bed , plugs all about , a refrigerator with COMPLIMENTARY Beverages refilled every day .

Zero Complaints - It might have been sweet to have a Nespresso or coffee maker in the room , but delicious Cappuccino available downstairs

What I liked most is the excellent service of the staff. Especially Mr Wendell , the supervisor, and Carolina were very help full. There was first a problem because I got a twin room instead of the queenie room I booked however finally I got upgraded without extra cost to the penthouse floor in to a great room. On top they showed flexibility at the check out. Always fast service and very good breakfast and restaurant.

We decided on a night in Miami before we flew home, so glad we did. Lissette and Wendell on the front desk were absolutely brilliant. Weddell was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and it's rooms are also lovely. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Pelican.

love hotel Pelican as it has real heart and individuality. all the staff, especially evening and early morning, are the most friendly of anywhere I have stayed in years and make you stay feel very special. they and their management should be very proud.

one of the best places to live in Miami Beach for solo travelers or couples who want everything close by. room was amazing and staff was just incredible. very warm people esp. Juan
