Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-John Young Parkway/South Park

Excellent location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet included was very good, a little of everything (eggs, waffles, toast, fruit, etc)! They have a guest laundry, very convenient. Ample room and comfy beds. The bathroom was very clean.

The only thing that wasn't very clean was the carpet. Preferred to wear shoes. The housekeeping is upon request, which they did, but didn't refill the coffee pods or the shower gel. Little things.

Well, this hotel we are staying at just won me over. It's a nice hotel. 1- It still offers sit down breakfast items. The standard waffles, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, and multiple choices of bread to choose from. Better yet, you get to make it yourself! 2- The room is a nice size and the bathroom is big as well. The table/desk is large enough for both of us to set up our laptops and not be bumping elbows. 3- The front desk lady on the 2nd evening(the same one that checked us in) was very friendly and offered us hints on where the best beach places to go. After going to Cocoa Beach on the 2nd day and sticking our feet in the ocean, I thought to stop and get a couple of extra towels. Not only did she gladly hand me 2 more large towels, but handed me a gift basket with 3 candy bars in it and a post card from Florida that says thanks for staying here, & hope you enjoyed your visit. I thought it was very kind. Not sure if they do that for all of their out of state guests, but it has left a good impression on me about this hotel. I think I will be looking up this hotel chain in the next locations we will be staying at.

When I got to my room I was blown away. The size of the rooms are unbelievable. Thanks to Booking.com and renting only hours before my stay I got a 40% to 50% discount on my stay. The bed and the bedding were so comfortable and luxurious. I slept like a baby and overall exceeded my expectations.

Overall for a visitor on vacation driving at night it can seem daunting.... like where am I going. I pasted an industrial area , and your on a your driving through a wide long street that feels like a highway and no sense of community but when I got to this place I didn't mind. glad I find this place. The rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 were right.

I was a bit concerned when booking due to some reviews I read on this hotel and others that were at that price range. Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando- John Young Pkwy/South Park totally dispelled all my concerns from the moment I entered. The lobby was really nice and clean. It was quiet and the staff was super nice accommodating. We arrived about half-hour before normal check-in and the party for our second room wasn't their yet, but they still managed to get the rooms next to each other. The breakfast was excellent each day and the passion fruit juice was a crowd pleaser. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable (loved the pillows). The cleaning crew were very polite and came everyday per our request. The hotel was close to lots of shopping (we practically ended up getting groceries) and it was 7-20mins from the convention center, the airport and Disney Workd; very convenient location. Great value.

The hotel was a bit close to the road, though convenient, the noise from loud cars at night disturbed but it didn't happen often (not too high traffic road). The air conditioner system also was a bit noisy when it starts up, but then it became like white noise and you didn't notice it running. I was concerned about that after reading reviews because my mom is very sensitive to noise when she sleeps, but she did not complain once.

The room and towels were very clean and smelled good. The room was also big enough and a lot of space to move around. The area was safe and quiet. We loved the idea of free parking and you can see your car from the room. Breakfast tasted good which included eggs, pancakes, cereals, and breads. Coffee and tea were always available.

CLEAN. Everywhere was clean. Sanitization stickers on your door, can of Lysol spray on the maid's cart...you can tell they are keeping up with the cleanliness. Room was huge and comparable to those of luxury hotels I have been in. Plenty of sockets/USB spots, fluffy clean towels aplenty, even the soap and shampoo was of better quality.Shower had a Waterpik head and was great for steam and massage. My stay was excellent.

Only complaint is that the tables by the pool are literally RIGHT next to the pool steps to get in, so both days there were a lot of people very early t the tables and I could not get in the pool. I would recommend moving them away from the steps so people can enjoy without brushing up against other people.

My husband and I traveled with our two youngest boys under the age of 10. Understandably, COVID leads one to have to ask a room be serviced each day, but aside from that the room was clean and modernly updated. My only other sadness was no 24-hour tea/coffee service in the lobby and the waffle maker was not available, a favorite of my husband’s. The lobby was spacious forward and up-to-date with modern decor, however. The outdoor pool served its purpose for a good family swim in the evenings. We would not have problem staying here again.

Breakfast was amazing, loved the set up, and the fix your own style. Kids enjoyed it as well which is an extra bonus! Staff was very attentive with our needs.

The beds were uncomfortable, a firm bed is great, but it was too firm where you woke up and your body hurt. The pool area was a little on the smaller side, hanging out there with the kiddos was not ideal.

Check in was smooth and very friendly. Check out was smooth but not as cheerful. It was clean. Quiet. Very reasonable in price.

Went for breakfast 25 mins before closure. No more eggs. AC was a bit noisy. Minor problems when paying that rate.
