Holiday Inn Club Vacations At Orange Lake Resort, an IHG Hotel

We stayed at the River Island building near the water park, unit was clean and updated, well keep property grounds, pools area was nice, a lot of activity to do. Loved that it’s gated with security.

Being pestered to do a ‘tour’ of the property to try to sell you a time share. Didn’t like the fact that the resort fee doesn’t cover the tube for the lazy river or mini golf.

My family love the fact that this place felt like home in terms of the set up and beds were really comfy..

The staff didn't do a good job cleaning the villa before we arrived, floor was sticky and dirty. Sheets and pillow cases had stains of what looked like blood, we got only two pots which were really cheap thin pots we could barely make a meal. No room service, I mean at least call and see if we needed anything. What you got in the room is what you will have for the duration of time that you are there. For the money we paid we shouldn't have had to go outside to buy detergent, dish soap and toilet paper ect....

1. Bungalow is quite spacious with especially big living room space 2. There is a big kitchen, dining area and fridge is pretty big. This is particularly handy in summer 3. Good location though it's not next to anything it's a short drive. There are nearby choices for food and everything 4. Ok-ish swimming pools , kinda-good food and golf in the resort itself. Arcade game nearby. You will have much fun just in the resort itself

1. Cleanness. The garbage bins outside the room was not cleaned up for days with a strong smell 2. No breakfast instead we are given 15 per person credit per day. In addition the restaurant was closed for business between 11 and 12.... very inconvenient sometimes 3. Nitpicking, but the TV in rooms are too small for such a spacious living room 4. Arcade games seem need maintenance as lots of them are broken

Great location! Wonderful pool and rooms!

We arrived at 7pm and our room wasn’t ready. After three days at disney we wanted to just relax having just left the parks. They said they had no other rooms available. We wanted to shower, eat, etc. they made us wait about an hour to figure it out. My three and one year old were very upset and wanted to just go to bed. They did comp us a day of free rafts but with little ones it didn’t matter. Was definitely disappointed with check in, however, the person helping me was VERY helpful and it wasn’t her fault. The phone was broken and they wouldn’t let us check in without it working. The person to fix it and her boss was on lunch so they couldn’t do anything. Seems like you should have all rooms ready by check in time.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We made sure to leave the room as clean as possible. We did not have the time to go back to registration to check out we were already quite late for our check-in for the airport. Thanks again for the stay. I hope that this was not a problem.

What we did not appreciate was the presentation about time sharing. We mentioned right from the start that we did not want to assist. It was a waist of time for us and for the sales person.

I very much enjoyed the pools, specially the lazy river. So much fun! The room was spacious and the beds were awesome, The location was great specially if you left to do stuff outside of the resort. The food at the restaurants on the resort was very good as well. Staff was very friendly, including the the people who worked at the gate and housekeeping. The grounds of the resort was just beautiful. That's what brings people back. We felt very welcomed. We will be back. Thank you!

I did not like being hounded to attend a timeshare presentation and being called on the room phone and my cell phone. No means no!

The beds were very comfy, nice rooms, the amenities were great and we loved we could still use them after check out. The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

The noise level. We had a 3 bedroom villa and the water heater was in our bedroom. It was very loud all night. The a/c was also very loud and sounded like a vacuum was running. We had to go searching to see where the noise was coming from. Our bedroom also had a window that was by the walkway and at 6 am the neighbors were extremely loud coming in and out of their villa. It was so loud we thought someone was inside our room talking. These made it a very long and sleepless night.

Everything was exceptional except timeshare staff

Everything was above and beyond except didn't like that the adminities fee wasn't included in the price and wasn't aware of it. I was also told we could get an earlier check-in into a room that was cleaned early, and we couldn't check into our room until 4 pm. Time share staff needs to only ask twice and not 10xs to do a time share. I am a housekeeping inspector with a business as well as affiliate marketing in another business, and I can give them an A+ on cleaniness . Housekeeping works hard here at this resort and deserves recognition.

We had a rented a room for 2 days before entering into a one week villa. The staff worked with us to be able to keep the room until the villa was ready. They also helped to get my friend accommodations all set with me as she had a family emergency and could not make it on the first day. We used the putt putt, the rock wall, the pools and lazy river, and fished the ponds. We also went to amusement parks in-between but truly could make a whole vacation just at the resort.

I gained weight while I was there. I felt that the convenient store fresh ice cream was located a little to close to my villa and delicious. I got some frequently. I really have no complaints.

The three bedroom villa had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen was a nice size. It was great to have a soaking tub, so relaxing after long days walking at the Disney Parks. Having a screen porch was a great bonus. The washer and drying was so helpful since we have kids. The choices of pools were great. Everyone loved the slide! Great temperature of the water. Not too hot. Overall thought the resort was wonderful!

Just wish all the pools had hot tubs. The pool towels were so small. In the kitchen, there was only one pot with a lid. It would help to have more lids. The non-stick skillet was warped so it was hard to cook with. Needed a sturdier spatula. The black plastic one wasn't doing the trick. In the Master bathroom, when the light was on, the lightbulb on the right side in the light fixture over the mirror, kept going on and off by itself. Needed ceiling fans in the bedrooms. It was hard to keep a consistent temperature.
