The Berkley, Orlando

Everything was exceptional. Staff was friendly, kind, fast and efficient. Location was very private and quiet. Value for the stay was amazing. Very clean rooms, the view of sunrise and sunsets from my window were astonishing!! literally NOTHING bad to say.

I couldn't afford to stay longer...lol

We came for 3 nights (2 adults and 3 kids). The room was great (2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 showers and a hut tub that the kids loved and a balcony). The kitchen had almost everything and the washing machine did it work. We really loved the space we had in the room for 3 kids. We only had time for the pool and it was clean and warm (Big warm pool, small cold pool and a Jacuzzi). Didn't check other facilities. We asked (and got) a high floor so we didn't have any noise issues. Overall - we had a great time and would Recommend it to others!

We think the kitchen should have Salt and pepper as basic. We had only 1 small soap/shampoo in every shower and had to ask for more. We new there would not be any cleaning and that was ok.

The 3 bedrooms were clean, large, and spacious for our family of six with 3 full baths. Price was good for the stay and large rooms compared to others. Comfortable room temperature. Kitchen stocked with needed cooking utensils to prepare a meal. Grills located onsite for anyone staying who wanted to grill. Washer and dryer available. Did offer things to do (some activities scheduled on the calendar, game room for kids, and movie theatre with pre-set showtimes for select movies). The pool was nice and wasn't crowded. Plenty parking available for guests. Many stores and restaurants are nearby. Staff were friendly the few interactions we had. Felt safe during our stay.

Wouldn't stop us from staying again, but the area around the resort could use some landscaping. Alot of high grass and unkempt area surrounding the pool/patio. A nice lake fountain view but area surrounding the fountain and pool very unkempt. Stayed 4 nights, and no one offered to clean the room (luckily, we cleaned behind ourselves as we go). Also, no one offered any replacement linen. It was enough on arrival, but we had to grab linen off the cart in the hall when spotted. No food options on-site, resort market, or coffee shop, only a drink machine available.

Clean and quiet. Pool was lovely. The large pool was very warm. Our 4br suite was amazing and huge and slept 8 of us very comfortably. Convenience store and restaurant located across the street.

If I stayed here again, I’d ask to be on the highest floor. I could hear the people (kids) above us running around. This was fine during the day but not at midnight/ 1am when they were prob returning from a park or somewhere. Also, the shuttle times are not convenient so I would not choose this place based on free shuttle service. The Shuttle would also not accept our stroller as it can only be umbrella stroller. So we mostly used Uber or Lyft which was great in the end.

The best part of our stay at the Berkeley are the two gentlemen who were always available to help us out whenever we needed anything. Even though they spoke predominantly Spanish they were more than willing to figure out what we needed. All accommodations are well maintained, clean and in a beautiful setting. Our family loved the pool, our suite was spacious and nicely set up with a covered deck/ balcony overlooking a peaceful large pond. We were able to see the light show from one of the parks in the distance.

The shuttle service had only one time in the morning and return times for each park, therefore, we were forced to Uber back and forth from the parks each day. It would have been nice to have an in-house restaurant and bar. The color scheme for the suites are a little outdated The TV channels and remote was difficult to figure out. The sofa was not very comfortable, the cushions felt like they were inflated and would lose air and deflate. However, we do plan to book again next year because of all the other terrific amenities the Berkeley offers.

What an amazing pool area which can just be walked into with no steps. Hot tub was fab too. I just felt totally relaxed when here. Good parking and near a walgreens and loads of restaurants. I didn't want to leave and the whole place was so clean. Excellent cable station on the tvs in lounge and bedrooms. Free toiletries which smelt great and water pressure in the showers was fantastic. Only place I've seen with electric charging points for electric cars.

The furniture and curtains were a little dated but still in excellent condition.

The kids loved the pool. The adults loved the kitchen area.

In the particular unit we were in, the door to the toilet in the master bedroom, opened an inch from the toilet itself. making it near impossible to get in the stall and close the door, without having to do gymnastics. To remedy the situation, the door needs to swing outward and not inward. This would allow for easier access to the toilet.

This place was really nice. We hated to leave. We had a spacious 4 bedroom unit and loved every inch of it. Not as modern, and could use another sofa or a sectional in the 4 bedroom since it accommodates more people. We loved the movie theatre room and the heated pool..Not far from Disney at all. It was quiet and you didn't hear a lot of kids screaming or noise period. I would recommend to anyone and this will be our choice of stay when we return. You strive for 5, you deserve a 10!

More seating such as a sectiona, another couch. Everything else was perfect.

We are family of 5, stayed in the apartment for 7 nights. 2 bedroom apartment + living room with sofa bed 1. great staff service and hospitality, trash removal from door step every morning, night guard in entrance. 2. apartment was comfort, clean, well equipped with: washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, TVs, air conditioning, etc. 3. many wide parking slots 4. big and clean pool, locked at 22:00 to avoid noise, big and well equipped fitnes venter. 5. Great location with proximity to highways and supermarkets, Disney parks are 15 min away, universal: 35 minutes away. 6. Overall great value for money.

OMG this resort is perfect. My family and I were very comfortable here. The location was absolutely perfect nice it was close to everything; food, shopping, amusement parks, etc. The hotel staff were always super helpful and courteous. We loved the room and enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay here again. I especially loved the screened in porch/patio. I pranked my coffee there and did some work.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this place. I enjoyed it and it exceeded my expectations. The best place I have ever stayed in away from home.
