Ruskin Inn Tampa-Sun City Center

Every day there was a hot breakfast with beverages. Not just a continental breakfast, mind you, but a good selection of breakfast items. The facilities were clean and quiet, and for our particular stay, centrally located.

A few areas of the building maintenance could be upgraded or repaired, but everything functioned. The pet deposit we had to pay was a bit much, as our two little lap dogs created no additional work or damage for the property.

Our needs were always met by everyone we asked to assist us. I thought I had reserved a room to accommodate my Son's wheelchair and I didn't. Mr Patel was so kind to us and changed our room. The pool area was great. It had a lift to get my son in and out of the pool. That was really awesome. We will be back in the Tampa area in 6 to 8 weeks and will definitely consider rebooking here @ The Ruskin Inn Sun City.

handicap accessible bathroom was not available when I book it. and bathroom was little hard for me to get in the shower do to the door was too closed to the toilet and shower. too small

I liked the room , it was clean & a nice little “home” for the week

It took a while to check in because no one was at the front desk for the first 10-15 minutes I was there. Then someone stole my Do Not Disturb sign my last two nights there , so the next two days I was woken up by the maid trying to get in my room.

When I open the curtain to look out The window rails was dirty and the wall looks like mildew Bathroom need to be clean better border of the counter was too dirty with buggers Breakfast eggs was cold we had to go out to eat. Terrible coffee And to check out we had to wait like 20 minutes for someone to check us out and give my receipt. Nobody at the reception or at the breakfast area

It is a good value, not luxurious, but served my purposes as a safe, comfortable place to sleep while visiting nearby relatives. Manager was very responsive to my needs

The price was reasonable for the occasion. The free breakfast was great! Parking was in a well lit area. The Manager/Owner was very accommodating & friendly.

For some reason we were in the handicap room 101 on the first floor. The room was nice and spacious and clean; however, it smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. I thought the hotel was non smoking but it was very clear that the room had been smoked in for many years.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Didn't mind having a real conversation, so personable as well. The room was clean and so was the bathroom/shower. We even found it last minute and was surprised how great it was for a last minute find for only $90. Would stay again, and did stay again.
