Hyatt Place St. Petersburg/Downtown

The hotel location was great! Walking distance to restaurants, the pier and museums. The room was clean, a good breakfast and the bed was comfortable. The front desk personnel , manager and housekeeping managers were great they were very helpful with the issue we had.

The first day, at check in, there were problems with the AC, they couldn't give us the room with the 2 beds like we asked, so we were given the options to go to another hotel or sleep in the room with a fan in one bed and sofa bed, we were super tired from the trip so we decided to stay, not a good decision. The next day we were moved to another room, 2 beds, AC working and nice view. The bar is never open to order cocktails even when there's a cocktail menu.

Location is great. It is two blocks away from Beach Drive and next to Central Ave so all bars, restaurants, and entertainment are available within a short distance. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, the bar was well stocked and prices were reasonable.

The pool needs a bit better cleaning. It is outdoors so it is expected that debris will fall in, but it would be great if they could clean it in the morning. I did it myself on both occasions as my kids complained about bugs and leaves, and thankfully the tools were there, but I would appreciate it if I didn't have to do it. The room is sparsely decorated and a bit drab. Could do with a better interior design.

Spacious and modern room. With sound proof windows and business/travelers oriented audience - you gain a peaceful and quiet stay. The location is great, close to everything, right at the downtown with plenty of restaurants and clubs nearby. It is about 2-3 min walk from the beach strip with further many restaurants and bars. There's paid parking which is a big plus.

Standard American breakfast everyday, it could have been more diverse though, with a variety of food selection. There are no vegetables, too bad!

The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was nice with the sliding door, plenty of towels and a bath mat which most hotels do not provide. Also, the breakfast buffet was tasty and had a nice variety of food options. Also, the plating was very elegant.

Having to use quarters for the laundry machine. Wish that it had a slot for credit card. Also, the location was not ideal. There was quite a few bars across the street and a night club that was open every night. I know that can’t be helped, but worth a mention.

I loved the breakfast, which was different each day we were there. There was a lot to choose from and tasted so good! The staff were amazing and really friendly and the hotel itself was clean. The location is hard to beat, and the sunset from my room on the top floor was awesome to watch! Next time I'll probably go for the water view. I wasn't sure how much you'd see since it says partial view, but there is definitely a good enough view to make it worth it!

The pool was definitely cold! It also had a bunch of debris in it that I ended up getting up a lot of myself. I didn't end up getting in, because there was still stuff I couldn't get out and I was supposed to be relaxing with my wife for the honeymoon. Also, a little thing, the bathroom sink barely reached the sink itself. The water was maybe a half inch away from the wall of the inside of the sink, so when you wash your hands, the water goes all over the counter top, instead of in the sink.

it was so clean right from our very first entrance to the hotel very clean , breakfast was great and it's value was very unexpected , check in and check out was a breeze !! There was a lot of night life right across the street but you heard nothing in the rooms .

parking was a little tight and my gosh the towels were like sandpaper ... pool had a lot of debris's in it that made you not want to swim in it

The hotel's location, room size, breakfast, and facilities were all perfectly fine for a family of four.

The price of the room per night was double what we usually pay. I have taken my family to Europe every summer for 10 years and never paid more than $200 a night for a city center accommodation. This room was $350 a night, and went up to $600 per night if you booked late. Also, an additional $18 a day to park your car? Parking should probably be free when you pay this much for a room.

The breakfast option was awesome. The location was very good to get to the Pier area, and there was a lot of eating options nearby. The hotel was clean.

Our room had a leak, the carpeting was wet when we arrived and it appeared that they had been working on the bathroom on the outside wall of the room #821, it was torn apart on Thursday 3/16 and put back together by Sat, 3/18.

Your staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeeping manager was great as well as the housekeeper for my room, Courtney. The front desk attendants were friendly and welcoming when I came and went from the hotel as well as facility staff I would run in to in the elevator. One gentleman, (tall, darker hair, olive skin, perhaps 50-60’s) made a point to ask me how my stay was going and if there was anything any of them could do to improve upon it not to hesitate to let anyone know. It was very nice to see your team so invested in your guests experience at the hotel. In the last three weeks I have also been in hotels in Savannah as well as Boca Raton and I can tell you the experience was no where near this level. Bravo!

A better Pinot Noir in the downstairs bar. :) Perhaps Francis Coppola, Meomi, La Crema. The one they had was far too heavy and woodsy so I went to the store and purchased a bottle for my consumption. This is just a personal opinion and everyone has one. Lol.

Loved the facilities, location and the fitness center

Breakfast - ended sharp at 9.30, and the only meat choices was pork everyday which was weird. The shower tap was too quick to turn to hot but very slow to turn back to cold, had to rotate it all the way and then wait several minutes
