Hampton Inn & Suites St. Petersburg/Downtown

Great location, easy to walk around the downtown area and its many attractions. Room was large with a comfortable bed.

Very noisy, minimal sound insulation between rooms or the hallway. Did not appreciate the loud conversations at 4:30am am by guests waiting for the elevator. (On the other hand, the lovely acoustic guitar music from the next room was a pleasant surprise). Breakfast was disappointing especially at this price point. Other chains do a much better job with their post-Covid meals.

Location was very good. size of the room was great! very spacious and comfortable room. beds are comfortable and there was a sofa to rest and a desk was very useful to work with your laptop, balcony was the bonus :)

car park was expensive (18 usd/day+taxes) and there was no self-parking. however the vale was operating perfect.

Breakfast was different each day; good each day. Location is excellent for walking to the Pier, shopping, dining out, sight seeing the waterfront, catching the Trolley or Bus. Numerous extra activities are close by; including the Cross Bay Transport to Tampa.

Well, the Inn's pool was closed. Said it was needing repairs. So, our room was a "pool view" of an empty, dirty pool. Had we known, we'd likely asked for a different room with a different view... Just Sayin'

Breakfast was fine. Location was good. We were there because my son was in the hospital.

We did not know about the valet parking and were so tired, we just agreed to it, as there did not seem to be any customer self parking. Room was small and the person checking us in was a little abrupt. I asked her what people typically tipped to valet the car and she said "I don't know! What are you asking me for" . Everyone else was very nice.

The staff upon checking in were wonderful! So pleasant and helpful. This is why we stay at this hotel every year.

Valet young man could have been a bit more friendly

Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Location was perfect for walking to the James Museum which we came to tour.

The pool area was messy. The pool itself had some plant debris which is unavoidable but the area around the pool didn’t look like it had been cleaned of debris for a few days.

Very pleased with hotel which did a good job with Covid cleanliness and requiring mask wearing when in hotel common areas. Throughout our 3 night stay, the hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Appreciated the Valet parking and their assistance with our luggage, both on arrival and at departure. Check-in was very easy with a welcoming front desk clerk. We had a king size studio with balcony which was quite roomy and very clean with a couch, chair and a comfortable bed. The complimentary breakfast was good with a different hot entree each morning along with cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, yogurt, fruit, juices, etc. The hotel location was great, so convenient to St. Pete Pier, museums, shops and restaurants. We had one issue in the bathroom with a leaky faucet which we reported to the cleaning personnel and front desk. Within minutes, they jumped on it and addressed it with an interim solution until it could be totally repaired. We really appreciated their extremely rapid response and focus on providing a positive experience at their hotel. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and extend our thanks to the hotel staff for a job well done.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The only complaint we had was that the bathtub would fill up with water and so did the sink we figured it needed to be unclogged

The breakfast is a plus. The valet is exceptional. Brian is a wonderful asset as he was so helpful.

I do not like not having water in the room and being charged when asking for a bottle. Also did not like that you have to request room service.

the location was the best part of this property. the rooms were great and the refrigerator and microwave in the room was a nice feature. it was quiet at night for sleep. housekeeping went above and beyond to make our family comfortable, the food service staff were also very helpful
