Regency Inn & Suites - Saint Augustine

Everything was amazing! Staff was so friendly and accommodating - all smiles all the time! The location is hard to beat - right across the street from the beach/pier. Easy 2 minute walk! Also in walking distance of many great restaurants. Lots of accessible parking - very safe area. Facilities were great - room was clean, large, and up-to-date. Bathroom was CLEAN! We didn't think we'd like the indoor pool, but quickly changed our minds. Pool is clean and a perfect place to cool off after a hot day at the beach. We will book again in a heartbeat!

Excellent location - next to the beach and restaurants / gas station , etc A price tag attached for a 2 queens bed room was below $100 - it is unbeatable for a resort !!! Cleanliness is superb. Plenty of parking space. And finally a unique feature - an alarm clock for a layman - very easy to set up ( something I never met so far in hotels when you need to be a rocket scientist to set up an alarm clocks for a morning call !!!) Electrical fixtures are conveniently located by the head board and night stands , a flat TV is nice. Coffee to go and lots of towels ! And of course - I just loved the white -red - white colors of the headboards ( please do not ask me why - google out instead !)

I would love to have the later check out time - say, at noon instead of 11 am. " You can check out anytime you like But you can never leave" ( c).

So close to the beach. You can walk to it. There is a store right beside you and plenty of restaurants around.

The lady at check-in kept being ugly repeating “I have to have your card” I had already acknowledged and was just trying to explain what I had done and I had to do it a different way but instead of listening and giving me a moment to take care of my situation she just kept saying and slower at times like I didn’t understand after saying I understand “I have to have card”. I finally quit talking and just handled my business. Was glad to not have to deal with her anymore.

Breakfast is no longer served at this location.. The location of the hotel however was prime. About 20 yards from the beach.. stores, restaurants, anything within walking distance.

Check out wasn't until 11. Some light knocking on our door at 930& housekeeping just walking on in. There is no 'double locks' on the doors so the only lock on the door from the inside is the deadbolt.. using a master key from the outside, unlocks it automatically so either way, didn't feel very safe. & apparently the lady that walked in does it pretty regular to customers. Because I did address that upon check out with the front desk gal. The front desk gal was amazing.. could not ask for better service on that end.

Directly across the street from the St. Augustine Pier. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. There is a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, and hair dryer in the room. They also have good cable with movie channels. They have an indoor pool that we didn't fully check out because we were only stopping for one night. I did see it from the lobby, though, and it appeared to be open with a couple of people in it. There's a Salt Life restaurant next door, so we didn't have to drive anywhere to get dinner. We plan to come back when we can stay longer. For the price it was a great choice!

I really can't think of anything I didn't like about this place.

The hair dryer was broken in my room and the staff came to try to fix it and when it wasn't fixable they gave me a hair dryer from the office. They also said we could stay parked there longer to go to the flea market across the street after checkout although we ended up not needing it cuz we left at noon but it was nice that they offered to let us stay there free of charge.

The pool was on the cool side didn't seem to be heated but it's still very nice. I miss the days of having the free breakfast but I understand because of covid that y'all do not offer it.

We got locked out on the first day in the cleaning service went to the front desk with our key card and got it fixed they were so so nice I wish I got her name. She asked us if she could do anything else for us. Great location across from the St Augustine Pier. It was wonderful being able to walk to restaurants. The pool was fantastic and it was nice to have pool towels. The best was the flea market at the beach across from the hotel on Wednesday. Rooms were clean and everything worked exceptional great price have been there before and will come again!

Nothing everything was exceptional

They are in the process of updating the facility and our room was in good shape. We stayed a week so the refrigerator and microwave were great. The room was bright and clean. I love that the floors are not carpeted. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. There is a nice stretch of beach across the street and several good restaurants within walking distance. The property is really well lit.

There doesn't appear to be much in the way of soundproofing, so you can hear pretty much anything going on in adjacent rooms. Who you have staying next door might matter. A couple of the nights were difficult, but most of the nights were fine. Currently, they aren't doing breakfast in the lobby which would have been super convenient, but we knew before booked that service was suspended.

The location from the room to the beach was less than a 10 minute walk across the street which was perfect. It was a great deal for that location and plenty of places to eat that we could also walk to rather than drive.

The restroom could have been cleaner since there was hair on the shower walls, there was a stain on the headboard of the bed, and there was one bottle of shampoo and one bar of soap for the toiletries. No conditioner or second bar of soap to use at the sink or in the shower.

•THEE most comfortable bed ever! •A/C keeps the room cool, works perfectly. •Big shower/tub if you have kids. •Staff was so welcoming & friendly. •Right next to Salt Life Restaurant (highly recommend). •Beach access straight across the street, 1 minute walk.

Slightly hard to find if you’re not a local, it’s behind the Shell gas station so our GPS was a bit confused.
