Americas Best Value Inn St. Augustine

The location was wonderful. Great sushi place and Walgreens next door. Within a few minutes of groceries, coffee and the beach! Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Room had a smell like it had been a smoking room in the past. Currently no smoking. Bedding was clean but dated.

breakfast was pretty basic, but the rooms are such good value, I wasn't expecting a high end breakfast.

It is a dependable hotel with good pool, near the beach and usually very good price. Rooms were very clean, beds firm, no bugs.......

The television reception is grainy, not enough channels, really. I used my laptop and internet access to watch what I wanted to watch, using an HDMI cord for connection to the TV. Honestly, for around a 100 bucks a day, most hotels should have excellent television reception. They offer coffee and packaged buns and pop tarts for breakfast. There was no option for eggs at all. I usually don't partake of the continental style breakfast, but the coffee was good.

Clean, comfortable, great location, near beach ramps, near downtown. Pristine pool area, large, clean and inviting pool. This is the best value for the money on the beach.

Breakfast wasn't much, fruit, pop tart and coffee, but I didn't really come for that.

Very clean, comfortable and only a 10-12 minute walk to the beach! Even had a surprise continental breakfast which included oranges, oatmeal, pastries, poptarts & coffee. I appreciate the makeup wipe as well. Free WiFi! Great location 🙂 Very friendly front desk agents. Plenty of free parking!

Room did have a musky smell when we first walked in. Was fine once we turned on the AC. Biggest improvement I reccomend: add more outlets! Like a lamp with some outlets and/or a power strip. Was challenging charging all our devices. Had to unplug the lamps lol

I liked everything. Pool was the cleanest pool that I have saw in years. The room was the cleanest one that I have stayed in. The beds were so very very comfortable!

Midnight door slammers were rough for the first night. But that was not the hotel's fault! The other nights were great.

Room was clean, great value, good location. No breakfast during Covid. Good location for both downtown St Augustine, and access to the beach.

If you are looking for a five state resort then go somewhere else but if you are just passing through or having a last minute getaway then this maybe the place for you. The TV was basically nonexistent for us and we used it for sleep rest. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a value and just passing through look no more or like us and had a last minute getaway where we were just getting away the it is a great place. If you wanted a lot of amenities the look elsewhere.

The staff were very friendly & accommodating. They were the best part. The pool was nice & clean. The rooms were very clean & well taken care of. You can tell they are working on improving things & it’s very nice. i will stay here again when returning to the area.

the showers needed some work like the shower head but they were clean & useable. Nothing terrible.

I loved the location, the friendly & courteous service of Frank & his Staff. The room was really nice, the beds were very comfortable(there were 2 queen beds), there was plenty of hot water to take a shower & a bath, the room & bed linens were clean, the pool was clean & refreshing. I will definitely stay here the next time I go to St. Augustine! There are great restaurants & a lot of great things to do like sightseeing & the beach. Most everyone was nice. I loved St. Augustine so much, I may plan a trip back next month!
