Courtyard Amelia Island

This is a great location. I've been coming here for a couple of years. I stayed here for business the first time and fell in love with the location and remember being surprised at how nice the hotel was. I've been coming back for solo trips since. The pool is clean and big. The bar outside offers drinks and food. The inside and outside of the hotel is spotless. The staff are friendly. i always add another day to my stay because I never want to leave.

Housekeeping did not come to my to my room during my stay.. Of course, I did not call the front desk to inquire about this, so it's possible I needed to request it during my week long stay. It did not affect my stay and did not bother me. I did ask for towels and they were promptly delivered to my room.

The balcony was awesome. Location terrific. Room was clean on arrival. Hotel staff very very nice.

We where assigned a handicapped room, that was not requested, while spacious, lacked furniture and the shower was a water mess on the floor. Toilet backed up on the first evening, so we use the lobby bathroom until it was fixed. I used the lobby bathroom at 7am before my morning walk, one stall had blood on toilet and another had stool and toilet paper. I realize you have a contract with starbucks, but regular free coffee would be appreciated. I realize rooms are not cleaned everyday anymore and we only stayed 2 nights, but at least restocking towels, coffee, cups and kleenex would of been nice.

Location was good. The whole place smelled good especially the entrances by the pool which usually smells kind of bad.

The exit doors by the pool required you to press a button which would shock you when you touched it. This happened to me, my son and wife. My youngest son would use anything other than his finger to touch the button when leaving the pool. This happened on the west side of the pool nearest to the bar. I would say the busiest entrance to the pool.

Staff all very helpful & so friendly. Close to the beach. Room nice. Pretty view of the ocean. Pool area has lots of room and is really nice. My girls had a place to go on the first floor to do their school work for their summer classes. Very nice set up.

No fan in the bathroom. Iron didn’t work good at all. This would be with booking.com: stated sofa bed in room. My 6’2” 17 yr old will not sleep with me nor his twin 19 yr old sisters, so he was going to have the sofa bed. There was no sofa bed and he slept on the floor. Upset me. He didn’t get good sleep. Only reason I paid the price I did was due to there being supposedly 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Felt I was ripped off with the price. Also, booking.com stated check out was 12 pm & it was 11:00 am. I overheard someone saying that at breakfast or we would have checked out at 12 noon. Feel booking.com should reimburse me some $ for there not being a sofa bed.

Nice new facility. Good fitness room. Great pool. Friendly staff. Great location.

No free breakfast. Free coffee limited to coffee pot in room. Shower leaked water onto bathroom floor. Drinks ordered in pool area had tips automatically added onto tab - no choice. No house keeping - used Covid as the excuse.

The woman who checked us in, Pat I believe was her name, was so kind and went above and beyond. At check in she was so friendly and asked if the festivities happening at the beach is what brought us here. I told her it was my oldest daughters 15th birthday. About 30 minutes later or so, a hotel rep brought a board with cookies and strawberries. There was a candle in a cookie with a card wishing her a happy 15th birthday. I have never stayed at a hotel that did something like this. I will definitely be back because of her. Also the hotel was so clean and close to the beach.

Booking.com showed that the room I was booking had a sofa bed in the title but the description of the room did not relay that same information. Also it listed check out at 12 and it was 11. Nothing wrong with the hotel.

We liked verything. The beds were comfortable, the room was super dark at night with the blinds closed, the staff was amazing, the bar was stocked and the pool was fun. It was a great location; right across from the ocean and a really cool restaurant called Salt Life. Super enjoyed our brief walk there and our dinner and drinks. The hotel drinks were great from the bar, but even though the menu looked great, we didn't have the opportunity to sample from it. Next time though.

Weeelllll.... this wasn't the hotels fault, but our 2nd night was booked in a room next to a bunch of rowdy younger girls jumping on the bed and, it sounded like, throwing thing. We called down after pounding on the wall to let them know we heard them. They didn't slow down from that. Eventually, the "dad" knocked on our door and apologized.

My daughter & I were guests at the hotel. Everything went well except our room was never cleaned. On Monday morning we exited our room and bumped into about 4 cleaning carts w/ staff directly in front of our room. Strangely, when we returned 4 hours later, our room was not clean.

Beautiful spaces, pool area and bar, car charging

Staff seemed poorly trained “it’s my first day” at the bar and front desk unsure of where to look for a list item. Bar out of an advertised item and substituted an inferior one without asking - not a dealbreaker but not the fun happy hour we were going for.

The hotel is extremely nice.

I booked a double queen with a pull out couch only to find out at check-in that no such room exists. The manager was very rude and told me I needed to take that up with booking.com because they advertised incorrectly.
