Holiday Inn - Indianapolis Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Very clean, beds were super comfy, and our room was nice and quiet. Perfect location for an event at the stadium. The pool is a bit small and can get loud, but the kids loved it. Breakfast was great (only free for kids), and the staff doing breakfast were absolutely fantastic. Overall, great stay. Keep in mind that you will pay for parking at the structure next door, and check-in can be busy right before big events at the stadium.

My messages through the app were never responded to before our trip, I had to call to ask questions (they were answered quickly and clearly). Was told that there is a restaurant with dinner on-site, but that is not the case (or it was closed).

I was especially impressed by the staff at this location. They were very friendly, funny, and knew what they were doing. I saw the manager in the morning handle two challenging situations. the woman at the desk when I checked in was joyful and made me feel right at home. A member of the housekeeping greeted me with a “Good morning!” and had a short chat with me. I felt only good vibes at this hotel. The whole place was super clean and I felt safe and cozy! I also loved the art in my room. The furniture and amenities in my room were amazing. One of the best stays at a hotel I can remember.

I would like to share special thing that happened during my stay. After long drive when I came to check-in, Felicia from the front desk was very helpful, the room, breakfast…was up to the standard when we would expect from IHG hotels. what other thing that happened was after I checked out, and left the hotel, I came to know that I have lost my wallet. I didn’t know where I could have dropped it, so I decided to go back and check at the hotel. I soon as I reach the front desk (unfortunately I didn’t got her name) said someone found your wallet in the parking and brought it here. I couldn’t believe it, it is one of the best thing the happened to me. Losing my wallet would have had huge consequences and a seemingly simple good deed by a stranger saved me from trouble I couldn’t begin to imagine. I’m so thankful to this gentleman and the front desk which kept my wallet with the money, cards and other things intact.

I really liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room! That was an unexpected surprise that really made our stay so much better. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, and it appeared to be available for a charge ($8.50 for adults if I recall correctly), so I can't comment on breakfast.

It appeared that breakfast was not included, but I can't be sure. I saw a sign that said breakfast cost an additional amount, but didn't know how (or if) it was enforced. We ended up not having the breakfast offered because of this.

The staff is very friendly and the location of the hotel to the hospital is accommodating.

The first time we stayed the room we stayed in was very very nice. The second trip they put us in a room that the bathroom ceiling was moldy and falling down they changed us to a different room across the hall but it was not very clean the floors were not vacuumed and the bathroom walls and floor were stained and not clean.

The pool was freezing! Also people/guests were able to cut through the pool area to access the outside of the hotel. This was very unsafe as twice a kid was almost knocked into the pool by a passerby(and the pool wasn't even busy at the time). Plus it made it even colder in the pool area with the outside door opening.

Super close to Lucas Oil Stadium Andrew at the front desk did an amazing job dealing with the onslaught of customers all checking in at the same time! Kudos!

Parking in the adjacent garage was a bit pricey for one night, but it was secure

Walking distance to the venue that was planned.Easy check in and staff was friendly and efficient.Room was great.Had a pool and exercise room.Nice sitting area

Remote to our blinds did not work.Had Coffee maker in room but only decaf coffee pids no sugar or creamer for coffee.A little chaotic in trying to get from checking at hotel to parking.Cars coming from all directions to cause a frazzled commotion with no one directing cars in the right direction.

Sandy and the front desk staff were very accommodating. They made us feel right at home. Myself and my family were there for a week for my Sorority Convention. Anything that we needed, the staff went out of their way to put customers 1st. Stephanie from housekeeping was also very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again, if I should ever need to come to Indianapolis again!

The location is positioned perfectly downtown at a bargain price. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable.

I wish the breakfast options were a little better. Also, my room was next to the pool, so it was a tad bit loud. However, I don't have any real complaints!
