Courtyard Indianapolis at the Capitol

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Multiple staff members would always welcome us back when we came in! We were in town for a conference but had to leave early as both my roommates contracted covid. We originally booked room and parking for three days, but they allowed us to check out early and did not charge us for the last day. :) Free wifi worked better than you'd expect from a hotel.

Website is not clear that parking is $30 a night. Was not a surprise to us as we found this information in past reviews, but it would be nice to see upfront.

Jason at the front desk was exceptional. He was kind, caring, and compassionate. He predicted our needs and was able to satisfy us. We needed transportation at 0345 the next morning and he set it up for us. We were early and he accommodated us. We will be back as our first choice when we are in Indiana.

The room was not put back together after it was cleaned. The cushions on the couch were off and the shower drain was not in place. We chose the hotel based on reviews, especially bed comfort. It actually was not as comfortable as we expected.

Great hotel, downtown and close to the business interests I had while staying there. I appreciated the quiet, comfortable rooms. Very clean and well-maintained.

Despite not sharing a parking area, they were charging $30 nightly to park in an open lot. If they had a garage nearby, I could understand the parking fee but an open lot with no working security gates did not seem to justify them charging for parking.

The motel was within walking distance to the event I was attending

I chose this hotel because of the pool option however the pool in the motel was closed and there was a pool available at an adjacent motel in the Marriott bonvoy family that would provide pool privilege if space was available I felt like that was an inconvenience for the price i was paying for the weekend.so no I didn't utilize the pool option.

At the gate to leave, there are bolts sticking up from the ground like something broke off. If you’re not paying attention, you could totally flatten your tires. One of the rooms I booked didn’t have any sheets or a blanket for the pull out bed and the phone in the room didn’t work to call the front.

The staff was very nice and helpful , it was very spacious for my family and we felt happy and satisfied with the room , all the restaurants and events that we had planned was close to us .

The room had some kind of red beverage stains on the curtain, sofa, and carpet upon arrival, but the staff sent someone right away to clean it, and no one let us know that room service will not clean the room because of Covid-19, they informed us after we asked

Location was great. Also the biggest TV I’ve seen in a hotel room.

Very noisy. The people above us sounded like they were moving furniture at night. The next morning in the hallway I heard people above us walking, walls must be very thin. Also, I understand limited housekeeping services with COVID, but I asked for more towels and wash clothes in the morning and did not receive them. When I called down to ask about them, I was told sorry I had to come get them at that point because they were the only person at the desk. When my daughter went to get them she then had to wait at front desk because no one was there.

I don't like my card being charged gratuity (tip) for the comped breakfast. My room cost more to get the breakfast, and I was limited to what food I could get, and then charged a tip to my card on file. May as well went out for breakfast at that point.

EVERYTHING!!! Room set-up and decor, location of this hotel (nice evening views), the amenities (restaurant, fridge and microwave, indoor pool, gym) and the EXCEPTIONAL staff!

The stay was welcoming and inviting as soon as we walked in the door to check in. The gentlemen at the front counter was new to the area and was very friendly and enjoyed talking to him. The rooms are very clean and organized everything is up to date. Haven’t tried the breakfast yet but more than likely we will try it and the pool possibly too.

The hallways had a distinct smell wasn’t bad or good just odd.
