Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown Across from Circle Centre

Everything was fine, nice room, very clean, very peaceful, breakfast was great.

The elevator buttons for the 5th floor were not working for a couple of the elevators. Also, I understand that it's a corporate thing, but the additional credit card hold upon arrival is completely unnecessary for a one night stay with no children. I also live in the city. That policy needs updating.

Absolutely smashed it. Fantastic staff at the front desk and throughout. Beautiful rooms with enormous comfy beds. Whole place was spotless. Shower had a lovely adjustable head so was very plesant to use. The location so close to the centre of town was brilliant too, we were working at the convention centre so it was a breeze to get to and from there every day form the Hampton. Would defintely encourage anyone going to Indianapolis to use this hotel. Top drawer accomodation at a customer friendly price!

The breakfast was tasty enough but I was sad I couldnt choose what I wanted each day. I wanted those mini omlettes with cheese on *every day* because I don't like scrambled egg particularly (although yours was nice). I'd have liked the choice of sausages, sausage pattie or bacon each day, sometimes all 3! Some mushrooms or baked beans to go along with the fried stuff would've been nice too. I'm British though, we like a proper fry up in the mornings ;) This was the *only( thing I was a little bit let down by, everthing else was perfect.

The front desk attendants were very kind - welcomed us,made suggestions for dinner, told us everything we needed to know. The night time valet was friendly and attentive talking to us, getting us a cart and was patient with questions. The included breakfast was better than any we have had in our drive from PA to CO and back home. The food was fresh, the oatmeal was thick and there was a variety of beverages and it was very clean. The beds were clean and comfortable, The TV was the right size and easy to operate, the bathroom sink, floor tub and toilet were clean and had enough towels for all 4 people in the room and I really like Hilton's extra security layer - the requirement that you use your key in the elevator. Also the furnishings were in good shape and I liked the unique history of the hotel and the fact that the rooms included a safe and a micro-fridge.

The hallway carpet on the 9th floor was very dirty. The morning valet was not attentive.

We loved the location of this hotel, right down town, within walking distance of White River State Park, Indianapolis Zoo, the Monument, and lots of restaurants. We also really appreciated the hot breakfast -- lots of choices and friendly service.

We didn't love having to pay for valet parking, but we understand that it's pretty typical for a downtown hotel. Also, our double bed room had full sized beds, and I thought they were going to be queen. I think that the beds were advertised as full, but I misunderstood. The bed was comfortable but cozy.

Loved the location was very convenient and lots of restaurants in walking distance. Door greeter was really nice young boy. Everything else was nice and clean didn't have time to eat breakfast but it look really good.

Having to pay for parking of course no likes to pay for parking when they already paying to stay there.. but besides that I only stayed a day but I did enjoy myself.

Room - 10/10 spacious and comfortable, everything worked and anything we had an issue with or needed was resolved incredibly efficiently Location - 9/10, I personally really enjoyed the atmosphere but it was definitely loud at times over the weekend, incredibly walkable town, very friendly and inviting! Lots to see and do. Breakfast - can't go wrong, well stocked and available until 10am

The location is a bit loud which wasn't in the "Visit Indianapolis" brochure lol, but overall made for a lively atmosphere so I didn't mind it ultimately. I might recommend yoga mats that guests can borrow for workouts in the weight room.

Hotel is central to activities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The lobby had Jenga and cornhole. Breakfast area was great.

The hotel room seemed a bit dated. We had asked for a city view; we got an ally / valet parking lot view. Also, there was someone on a scaffolding right outside our window working; would have been considerate to not book these rooms if you knew your building was having maintenance at the time, or maybe offer to switch room.

It was literally around the block from everything we needed to do and within walking distance! It was a great deal as well for being right down town!

Not even a big deal but only thing I'd say is no pool, no jacuzzi. However we wouldn't have had time anyways! Also maybe the no bathrooms downstairs during check in makes it hard for people checking in who've traveled far and need to use the facilities and you need a room key to get anywhere on the elevator so you can't go to second floor to go until you have one!

service was exceptional. there are few occasions where staff go above and beyond to make you feel appreciated. that’s how I felt about the desk staff. had a great checkin, and then each time I walked by they acknowledged me, offered me more water, asked if there was anything else needed, it was wonderful. felt like they were genuinely interested in me. valet was the same, after one day they knew me and the pattern of me coming and going and made sure the vehicle was ready and when they got behind I got an apology and offered more bottled water - at a Hampton inn no less!

property is dated, basic, don’t think the heater was really working but maintained at least lower-mid 60s, shower was old and hard to maintain temperature. but everything was really clean and when I needed housekeeping they came

Impressed by the security measures which made us feel safe, location was great for entertainment & meals, facility and room where comfortable and clean.

At 9:00am, a gentleman entered my room. When mentioning to the front desk, I was told house keeping has permission to enter my room if no sign on my door. This person didn't knock or Identify themselves.
