Ironworks Hotel Indy

I loved the patio space off my room… it helped so much to have that extra space to relax and entertain my family who i came to Indy to spend time with.

I was very pleased, I have nothing to add in contrast to me experience.

If you are looking for a hotel on the outskirts of Indy, with some amazing flair, you found it in the Ironworks Hotel. It's quiet, yet has everything you need. There are several great Restaurants in and around the Hotel. I highly recommend Provisions, which is just beside the hotel lobby. Seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. If you like Seafood, you have to try the Lobster Toast. Seriously delish. On the lower floor you will also find a Spa, to treat yourself to some pampering. The room itself was very clean, with an old time factory flair to it. Bed was clean and comfy. Will definitely be staying here again and can't recommend it enough.

Not a thing, i didn't like.

This was the second time I stayed. I love the smell, the style, and the room was very comfortable. The blackout curtains are excellent so we could sleep in. The bed was very comfortable. The staff even accommodated my specific room request. Last time I review I stated that the shower needed new caulk which was completed. All the restaurants in the shopping center were great, especially Provision and Rize. This is definitely a great place to stay.

It’s a bit pricy, but not too bad.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. I can usually find something that wasn't cleaned, but not this time. Not one stray hair nothing. Excellent! The hotel is modern, wood, and iron all at the same time. I love it! The rooms are excellent and large. We also use the spa next door and had a great experience. The floors are also secured with an elevator pass that will only let you go to your floor and the lobby. The lobby is on the second floor which was interesting. Valet and doors to adjacent shops are on the first floor so I appreciated the security of the elevator key pass.

the “vibe” is modern industrial, which makes the hotel decorations and rooms very unique. the hotel is connected with several nice restaurants on site , which is very nice.

the lobby was small and no other indoor or outdoor community/lounging areas that were readily visible. the hotel and restaurants are new and provide a great stay, but the location otherwise isn’t walkable to shopping or other activities.

The Hotel, its atmosphere, vibe, and rooms are all amazing. As are the showers! The rooms are roomy and comfortable and the bed was amazing. The hotel is an old steel mill that uses those factory elements with their own added steampunk vibe and ambiance. We felt like we were the only guests in the entire hotel because of how quiet the room and hallways are. The Ironworks is our go-to hotel when we are in Indianapolis. There are also several different kinds of restaurants in the complex. That was so nice because we didn't have to leave the property to get something to eat when we arrived. One of the hotel staff recommended the Italian restaurant to us. It was a great recommendation as well!

The Ironworks isn't really a family hotel per-say. When we stay there, it is when it is just an adult weekend. This isn't a bad thing really, but it is just an FYI.

very non-Cookie cutter. Very interesting decor. A lot of little touches including lamps,wine glass holders, Chair side tables that actually had some thought put into them. Absolutely the best rain shower I have ever experienced in my life Location is Very convenient, particularly if one is headed from the south and is going north. The next morning, getting on the expressway headed to Chicago was a piece of cake. Plenty of shopping in the neighborhood, Including upscale experiences.

I liked the ambiance of the hotel and the cleanliness. Within walking distance to many restaurants.

I thought the price was very expensive for a hotel that’s not in the middle of downtown. Also, we stayed on the fourth floor and I’m not sure what was above us but we heard very loud footsteps walking back and forth and it sounded like someone was pushing some sort of cart until midnight. It was very loud when trying to sleep and annoying.

Antonio, (Valet worker on January 5th), was extremely friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to help us with any questions we had. During conversation, he made it a point to speak to my kids, as well as us. He was an amazing person to have at the door of the hotel. I hope he sees this compliment as it is well deserved. The entire hotel was beautiful. As a trade worker, I thoroughly enjoyed the photos and decor thorough out the hotel. Our room was beautiful, therefore we did a small photo shoot. This is more than just a hotel. This hotel was one of our favorite things about or trip. So much so, we barely left. The shower was AMAZING. Everything was very clean and tidy. I have stayed in many hotels through put my career, and I've never stayed in a place that even compares to how amazing this place was. There was even a photo booth in the lobby entrance, which was a huge hit for our family.

The bars and restaurants could have stayed open later. I believe it was 10pm when they closed at the time of our stay. We were really looking forward to trying the bar out but it closed before we returned from the NBA game.

The hotel is modern, beautiful, and clean. Large rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free and easy parking right in front of the hotel is GOLDEN. I loved the restaurant options - the hotel is located in a strip of restaurants and a few other businesses - very convenient. I HIGHLY recommend VERDE, a Mexican restaurant. Make reservations. My only suggestion would be a cute coffee spot (aside from the breakfast restaurants) in the strip.

Overall everything was great. Two things to mention: We noticed there was a slight musty smell in the room, could have been the carpeting. My allergies couldn't handle that part. Our room also needed more lights.
