Drury Plaza Hotel Indianapolis Carmel

Breakfasts were good enough. Happy Hour was good enough. Both were a little busy. Pool was pleasant, but was overrun with older teenagers, one evening, that were horsing around. Liked the lime enfused water near the elevators. The pantry had a good selection, but was pricy. The location was good for our plans. The parking for the building was easy to access from the street.

Primarily the only thing that was not great was when the large group of older boys took over the pool and spa area and were getting rambunctious. It was not so bad that I complained because it was only one evening during my stay.

The staff was extremely professional and friendly. Great parking! The entire hotel; lobby, hallways and dining areas were constantly being cleaned by a Staff member. The rooms are very spacious! The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large. The best surprise was the inclusive breakfast, dinner and cocktails. This wasn't just your ordinary hotel "continental breakfast" either. There was a hot station with eggs, sausage, home potatoes, biscuits & gravy, a pastry station with bagels, muffins, toast. Not to mention the cereal bar, build your own parfait and fresh fruit. The coffee stations were wonderful! And ever night there was a different dinner featured. Our first night it was BBQ pulled pork with steamed vegetables, baked potatoes, a salad bar, a nacho bar and each adult received two drinks per dinner (which were delicious and strong). Another evening was fettuccine alfredo with grill chicken and our last evening was my favorite; russet mashed potatoes, Swedish meatballs with gravy. Another bonus was the gym (small but very clean and nice equipment), the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. It was a very pleasant "getaway" from every day life. AND, the entire Staff was on top of making sure each guest felt VIP. They did a stellar job maintaining a relaxing environment.

I loved it all and will ONLY be staying here during my next trips to Indianapolis and Carmel.

It is a very clean and nice hotel. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The staff was friendly.

It wasn’t a property issue but a lot of people stay here for sporting events for their kids. Some of the kids were out of control in the pool. Scaling across the window ledge above the pool, throwing the football at the windows and it would bounce back at the other little kids in the pool. The parents were all just drinking paying no attention. I don’t know how the staff did not know this was happening or say anything but that was not a great experience.

All of the workers were incredibly nice and very helpful. The two front desk girls that were there at night were so sweet!! We talked with them for a while, and they wrote out a list of places we might enjoy visiting. We really appreciated the suggestions and it made our trip so great!! The staff told us "good morning" when we came down for breakfast and the food and bar staff were just as kind and cheerful. This is the kind of workers every place needs in today's world. Everything was so clean also!! Best stay ever!!!

Everything was great!! Nothing negative. I hope this Dury location takes good care of their employees because they have the best group of employees I've ever seen all in one place!!

The Kickback was a total surprise to me. If I hadn't made dinner reservations, I would have stayed. The rooms are nice and the bed was very very comfy. Grabbed a little breakfast before we left around 8:30am. I went on and signed up for the rewards program as I know I'll be going back!!

The only thing was that I could hear my neighbors in their room talking, so the walls may not be as thick as you think. Luckily, I was too tired to care, as they weren't discussing anything important. IMO.

I really have nothing to complain about other than for breakfast it was the same food options every day but there was hot food and it was free so how can I complain? Switching from sausage to bacon would have been nice to mix it up and I was hoping for an omelette station because there was space for it but there never seemed to be someone staffed for that. The free drinks (up to 3) daily and free buffet style food was an AWESOME benefit. I literally will come back for that every time I come to Indy. Too bad I only took advantage one day but I never have seen this before and looked to be very popular as there were a lot of people who took advantage. I almost didn't book because it didn't appear as if there was a bar on property from the pictures but clearly I was wrong. Its just only open apparently for limited hours.

can't really say. I wasn't WOWed by the room but it was good. The lobby area was more visually impressive and comfortable.

staff was super friendly. food was good and drinks were on point. pool was cold bit it was March in Indiana. so that was to be expected. it was close to the freeway and all points Indianapolis.

there was a group that was obviously military of some sort. my sister and I were sitting in the lobby crocheting and drinking coffee at 5 am and the head of the group was yelling at pissed off dril sergeant volume for 2 hours. that was not the property's fault and it was kind of funny. just not at 5 am.

Breakfast was well stocked by staff! Great variety of food and drinks. Offered snacks and free drinks at night too! Great location right off the highway but still within decent distance of downtown Indianapolis. We were in town to visit the children’s museum and was only a 20 min drive on Meridian from the hotel! We have the queen suite with the sofa bed-great for families to space out after a long car ride.

Thicker blankets. Never enough at any hotel when the air conditioning is on.

This location is always clean and the beds a really comfortable, this is the second time I stayed at this location and I will truly be visiting this location again

Well at check in the customer service rep was not friendly at all , she acted as if she didnt want to be at work , she was very short with me when I would ask her any questions , this was the first time I have ever experienced such rude behavior from a employee at this location , I don't get how someone who is the face of a business when they are on duty could be so cold and lack basic customer service skills , if being at work is not what she wanted this young lady need to be told that she is not being forced to come into work , amd also her bad days should not fall on the customer's lap .

The suite was bigger than my first two apartments. It was very clean and comfortable. The food was awesome. We ate breakfast both mornings and it was great. It did not change but lots of choice with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cereal, danishes and bagels. Also pop, coffee and juice. It is right off of the highway so easy access. There is a Firebirds in the same parking lot. We did not eat there but it is nice to have a restaurant that close. Every part of the hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and very kind.
