Hampton Inn & Suites Middlebury

The overall answer would be positive, however there was confusion at the check-in desk about the rooms locations, but was finally resolved to our satisfaction.

The check in procedure should have been a lot smoother. I think that there was some kind of computer glitch but as noted above, it was all worked out eventually. The girl doing check in was very good at her job.

that I was charged more than originally billed .. prepaid 150.77 and the bill that was emailed the charge was 149.69 and my bank account was charged another 1 dollar so for a charge from the location of 149.69 I'm billed 151.77 instead of the prepaid 150.77 so what's with that?

The room was large. Had a couch & kitchenette. Very nice breakfast. Bed was comfortable.

We had disturbance in room next to us at 2am. Man & woman were yelling. Falling on floor, hitting the adjoining room wall. Front desk was notified. Never heard them arrive. Police were called. Room quieted down. We did large credit next morning when we talked to front desk.

Cleanliness of the hot tub and pool. Breakfast was very good.

TV was on analog input and couldn't get to the satellite stream. After finally getting the right stream, every time you turned it off you had to reset it when you turned it back on. Night light on clock didn't work.

There was a good assortment of breakfast items to choose from. The woman in charge of breakfast was on top of everything (restocking and cleaning). Unlike most hotels, the comforter on the bed was clean and unused. It was also nice to have a microwave and coffee pot in the room.

We did have a nice stay but I don’t know if the price was justified. It was on the higher end of spectrum for the location.

Tawnya was fantastic at fixing booking's mess and making us feel good about it! The rooms were very spacious and clean. We'd been traveling across the country for a week and stayed in two other hotels that were less clean (and we paid more).

Since we were traveling, we would have preferred it be closer to the highway, but it's in a great little town. Booking messed up and the hotel didn't receive our reservation, but the hotel was able to fit us in, thank goodness. And they honored the rate we were supposed to have. Front desk staff was amazing.

We didn’t know the Middlebury exit was closed on the turnpike. We had to go to the next exit and detour. We drove through a typical northern Indiana storm that was pretty unnerving.

Rooms were clean. staff was very friendly. breakfast was excellent. location was great.

Beds were not comfortable. mattresses were too soft so all our backs hurt. but acceptable. no spare toilet paper in the room. we stayed two nights with four people and they only had the one roll in the room, which was already part way gone.

Breakfasts were very good, and the cook/attendant was very friendly, very helpful. Privacy was good. Nights were quiet.

The 1st morning after we arrived we put out a sign saying Do Not Disturb as we felt we didn't need anything. But the second morning we expected clean linens and trash carried out. Nothing was done at all!

Breakfast attendant was very nice asking if anyone wanted anything else before she closed up and found some more No Sugar Added hot chocolate packets for my diabetic mother.

When I asked about points at checkin lady was kinda rude saying you dont get points when you book thru a third party.
