The breakfast was great my husband loved the biscuits and gravy and the omlets.I had cereal wanted a waffle but they didnt have sugar free syrup.im a borderline diabettic.☹The location was great you could do everything in walking distance.

The only thing I didnt like was the man and lady at the front desk. They were kinda mean .The lady was nice when the man wasnt around.I must of been asked at least 15 times if I'm picking up dog poop. I always pick up after my dog.I dont like the people that dont it makes it bad on us.Alot of people weren't I think I was the only one😠that was.

We were in town for a concert, and this hotel was the cheapest, most convenient one we could find. Think "better than Motel 6 and Super 8, but still very basic". It's a one-story hotel with comfortable beds, and it's clean. We could hear neighboring rooms activity, but earplugs helped nicely. They had a wonderful breakfast for a basic hotel - 4 kinds of dry cereal, biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs and bread and bagels. We'd stay here again.

Shepshewana has really become a tourist town. This hotel, which would cost $85 most anywhere else, was $122 (total). That's a bit high, but evidently that's the going rate.

I didn't eat breakfast there, we choose to sleep in a little. Other family members staying there said the food was fair. The staff was nice, location was good. For our needs on this trip it was a good value.

It was a very cold weekend and when we got to our rooms the heat was not on. Fortunately, it didn't take long for it to warm up after we got the heat on. We just felt like they should have had the heat on before we got there, at least low temperature since the weather was cold. Once it warms up though, just know it doesn't take much to heat them or it gets too warm.

Breakfast was really good! The biscuit and sausage gravy were delicious, always piping hot and fresh as were the scrambled eggs with veggies. Good selection of cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, fruit, cookies, juice, coffees, hot chocolate, cappuccino. The gal who checked us in was friendly and helpful as were the housekeeping crew. Room was clean, bed was comfy, room was spacious. Overall very nice stay.

Our shower head was loose and squirting water everywhere but hubby managed to tighten it down. The tub backed up and filled above our ankles while showering and needs a good cleaning out. Little on the pricey side for nothing fancy.

Never had breakfast

I didn’t like the boss he was very rude because I rang the bell more than once .Said he heard the bell but never answered.after quite some time ran it again .I was tired after driving 6 hours .Was not nice to be treated in that rude manner so I never spoke back just took my receipt and left .It’s to bad he was so rude because my family and I enjoyed many visit to that motel and have never been treat that way before not sure I will return there again.

Room was clean and acceptable for the price. Location was good. Check in was OK, the staff member could have been friendlier.

We didn't like the "breakfast" and common area, so we tried to find another place in Shipshewana to eat breakfast, but every place was closed. We had to go back to the motel. The breakfast room was too small with only 2 tables. There were several people eating at the same time and being a small room, it was difficult to get around people and tables. The food was not appealing. For example, the scrambled eggs were kept in a plastic container and had to be heated up in the microwave. The food was separated on opposite walls. The trash was overflowing.

Nice, uncluttered location. The room size was very adequate and without being excessive. The amenities were excellent.... Microwave, T.V., Refrigerator, Ironing Board, Iron, Blow Dryer, Coffee Maker.

Sitting area was small but adequate. Could have been less Spartan., more comfy. Mattress was too soft, but that's personal preference. Lobby/breakfast area was small, but cozy. We don't know what the breakfast offering was because it was shut down. We showed up at 9:30 and it was shut down at 9:00 except for coffee. If I was still working, I might eat breakfast at 07:00- 09:00. But I am retired, on vacation, check-out time is 11:00 and you shut down the breakfast at 09:00!!!???? What are you thinking?? After an otherwise nice night, looking for an eye opener, a bad taste was left in my mouth.

There was a $20 extra fee for a dog and that was not specific on their web page.

I enjoyed my stay here, my family and I had an early weekend get away just to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This motel was affordable, in a great location, and the staff was nice. We had a very restful few nights, you just couldn’t help but to sleep in. Bathroom was clean. Showers stayed nice and hot. Towels are changed daily. We only had the Continental breakfast our last day of our stay but it was great, there was a lot of variety. The waffles were delicious!!

breakfast was lovely. Hot and cold selections, juice, tea and coffee. loved making waffles every day. Front office personnel were awesome. If you asked they answered. next door to The Shipshewana RV Park and a mile up the road was the enormous flea Market, every Tuesday and Wednesday. Awesome find to be had. This is our fifth time to Shipshewana, we enjoy the atmosphere.

just a bigger bed, it was only a double, and we had a tiny bit of trouble.lol
