Baymont by Wyndham Bowling Green

Front desk staff professional, helpful and very friendly. Rooms were clean. Location was great as right off I65 and close to many restaurants and local attractions.

Key card system for rooms are awful. One room had both cards deactivated day of check out before we checked out. Breakfast was ok but they need a second waffle maker. Eggs were not great and 2 of 4 days no orange juice.$200 hold out on rooms until after checkout. Daily knock at door to collect dirty towels but a different person brings clean ones and one day only gave us hand towels and not bath towels. Pool water was pretty cold and need to ask front desk staff for towels. Overall it was ok.

The woman working the front desk when we checked in was so friendly and welcoming. We had a hearing impaired room, which was wonderful. The room itself was large, as was the bathroom. The shower had plenty of grab bars, and the spay from the shower head was great. There was a couch in the room, and the television had plenty of good channels. The king bed had feather pillows. The property was very clean. Good continental breakfast.

The bed was a little soft for me, and it was set up high, which was a bit of a struggle to get into. The breakfast hours on a Saturday were from 6-9, which for a weekend I thought was a bit short.

The location was convenient because it was right off the expressway. The property was well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The hotel had everything that I needed to be comfortable.

I think the other guests were happy with the breakfast. There were eggs, sausage, apples, yogurt, waffles, cereal and different kinds of bread. My husband and I have special diets. We are vegetarians and eat a low carb diet. I had some yogurt and my husband had a cup of orange at the hotel. We went out in town which we didn’t mind at all for breakfast. We don’t expect any hotel to be able to accommodate such a specialized diet.

we were just traveling through and needed a place to stay overnight. the room was dark, quiet- bed comfortable and we slept great. showered: water pressure good and towels soft. room clean and spacious, good amenities (coffee, hair dryer, fridge/microwave), I love the USB ports on the side of the bed!!! we had very good breakfast in the common area in the morning. noticed people had their pets all over the hotel which my husband commented on as a negative, but for some people nowadays that may be a positive. all employees were pleasant and helpful

key card technology probably needs an update. you do need to stand there for a few seconds before the reader recognizes the card and lets you in. it’s not the worst, just noticed it’s slow compared to other places I’ve stayed.

It was honestly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. My husband and myself with 3 granddaughters were in a king suite. The girls slept in the main room, which had a nice tv, refrigerator, sink and microwave and we stayed in the king bedroom with our own tv. The breakfast was great, staff was extremely gracious, also took advantage of the laundry facilities and the pool. If we are back in the area again we will absolutely stay again!

There was nothing to NOT like.

the property was close to the wedding venue and had a pool for the kids and breakfast included in our stay.

We were in for a family wedding and no matter where we went to visit we were told we are too loud even before quiet time. Quiet hour is too early almost everywhere we have stayed quiet hour isn’t until 11pm. there isn’t a conference room or area we could go to and visit. we were gathering for my nieces wedding and had traveled from Indiana, West Virginia, Missouri and of course KY.

Staff was fantastic, lobby clean and inviting. Good selection for breakfast. Room was large, loved the high ceiling. Bathroom was clean but looked like it had been leaking beside the tub snd there was wall damage, tried to fix it but typical lots of layers of repair that were unsightly. Other than that it was clean convenient and would stay again for the money. Pool looked nice but didn't use, kids on spring break seemed to enjoy it.

Bathroom could use some maintenance on the walls.

Receptionist was super nice and helpful. The room was very nice. The breakfast was scrumptious (I have literally never had better scrambled eggs and sausage in a hotel before!). There is an indoor pool.

Bad smell in my room. I did not call because,from experience, I imagined that they would just spray Febreze - and I don't like that smell either. So I opened the in-room coffee sachets and put that around the room and it took care of the smell.

The property was clean, everyone we interacted with was super friendly, and we loved the car theme that made us feel welcome as we were in town for a big car event. The room was spacious and the small details such as make up remover wipes and a shower cap were awesome. Breakfast was good as well!

The pool was freezing- but we didn’t care and swam anyway! The pool was clean and made a good end to our day in the heat, other than that, no complaints (I wouldn’t even say that’s a complaint - just an observation that took us a few minutes to get use to).

First time stayed at La Quinta suite. Really liked it. Clean spacious room, friendly staff, comfortable beds, overall well maintained and up to date as of March 2022. Even though this hotel is pet friendly and we saw people were walking dogs on its property, our room was completely clean of fur/hair, as well as hallways and back stairways. I'm really impressed. Good job, La Quinta team! Will definitely consider La Quinta for future hotel stays!

One little flaw - microwave in our room. It was really outdated, the one you have to dial (to turn that knob) for the time AND the power. It was nearly impossible to get our food to the right temperature. And the plate in the microwave seems completely off. Other than that, no complaints.
