Staybridge Suites Bowling Green, an IHG Hotel

I like the location. The staff is friendly and check-in was quick and accommodating. The free use of laundry machines is super convenient. The pool was clean. I enjoyed the breakfasts as well as the social time snacks in the evenings. A Walgreens is across parking lot, and a gas station, Dollar Tree and grocery store are across the street.

The kitchenette only had 2 mugs, 2 cups, 2 plates, etc. There was only one pot to cook in. I didn't need it because there was coffee in the lobby, but the coffee maker was missing from the room, though there was coffee provided in the room to make.

Everything was great. Staff was very friendly. Hot breakfast was good. Shower was good. Nice (Dove Brand) full size bath soap, shampoo, conditioner mounted dispenser in shower. Room was nice and spacious, clean, with separate bedroom area. Nice location close to I65 and close to anything you need, ie groceries, restaurants, fuel and 16 min from beech bend. Large parking area for car trailer if you're hauling a car for tri five nationals or camper.

The bed was the worst part of the experience. It was way too firm for us and crippled us for a couple hours after getting up. Wasn't fond of the pillows either but we usually bring our own anyways and failed to do so. I'd love to book this hotel again since we go every year. Our last hotel was already booked up so we chose here. But the bed issue really has me considering not to. Petty - No hairdryer - of course I didn't bring mine. Petty - Ice maker was really slow (in our room anyways) and no Ice machine on location to go get ice.

The daily breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly and stopped to chat each day during breakfast. The social nights were nice as well. Snacks and beer or wine!

I wish the associate at check in would have mentioned the bed type. Also, it would have been nice to know which way the room was facing. I would have preferred a different direction, but it wasn't too bad to face the street.

Size of the suite Front desk extremely friendly and professional The gentleman running breakfast was out of this world! He kept everything clean and orderly including the seating area. He cleared tables all while checking everyone. Always smiling and being helpful and considerate. The world needs more of his kind of customer service!

I booked a King but because of overbooking was given a queen.

location was close to whre I wished to visit. Breakfast was reasonable wathough slightly limited in variety. Staff was attentive and the gentleman was always picking up.

breakfast could have had a slightly wider variety. Not just your hotel but having the sink out side of the toilet ing area, I laways wonder how well the handles are sanitixed after since people cannot wash their hands prior to exitig after wiping

Very friendly and accommodating staff. While we were there the temperature was below zero and there were rolling blackouts to conserve power. The staff took everything in stride and were helpful and positive in making the best of a bad situation. I didn't get his name but the man who took care of the breakfast was especially upbeat and helpful. Also the breakfast options were many and everything we ate was very good. Check in was really fast as well.

Location and comfort of the room.

The desk clerk who put me facing the street after i told him not to. Then sais he gave me the farthest from the street with the next room but it wasnt even close. When i talked to him about it, he said it was the best he could do. I would have accepted that if he would have just told me that the first time. Just be honest! We can all accept that!

Location of the hotel. And the convenience of everything around it

Someone all through the night was trying to get in the room. Even 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning they where twisting handle and pulling on the door trying to get in. And the next morning we had to change rooms because something happened to the lock and we were locked out of our room but they were able to get in so they moved us to a different room.

Love everything.... except checking in. Nobody was at the desk. I waited for an associate. I can hear associates in the office behind the wall. I called 3x and Nobody answered. Finally, through the main entrance, an associate came to help me. She was very sweet once I got waited in. Every time I left the building someone acknowledges me leaving, which I did like.

I liked the large size of the suites, the nearness to shops and restaurants, the quick responses of staff to resolve concerns, the variety of offerings for breakfast.

The first suite I was given didn't have all the bedding. In place. I had a scheduled event just after checking in and this made me late. Staff resolved quickly.
