Tru By Hilton Bowling Green

The staff (Cody, Jade & Rob or Bob) and the ladies that cleaned the rooms, unfortunately I did not get their names. But these exceptional employees treated me and my family like their family. They were always asking if we needed anything or how everything was. We were their for the funeral of my aunt that was very unexpected. And your employees were very helpful in making this an easier time for us. It was greatly appreciated and we feel like we left with some new friends. Just want to say thank you for giving them a place to work that they enjoy it so much that it flows so naturally to their guests. Great job. I will highly recommend the Tru brand but especially this location. Also really enjoyed the patio and game areas. Very nice spaces for not only family and friends traveling together but also a great area for people to socialize and make new friends.

The doors to the rooms are a bit heavy, my husband is disabled and it was a little bit of a challenge to get the door open and hold it open while helping him get in the room. The pretty cover on top of the bed is actually uncomfortable, it is scratchy. But honestly this would not stop me from staying again or recommending to others.

We loved the gym, which is very well outfitted for a hotel- as well as the bed. The room was mostly very clean and we were pretty satisfied as we were able to sleep well. Hotel staff was friendly!

I was charged more than I was told when I booked the stay. In total for two king rooms, I was told i’d have to pay 880.00, and then I was charged 1,012. I’m still bothered by this, unfortunately. Be mindful when booking. Also, the glass wall in the shower had a little bit of green at the bottom of it which was slightly gross- + I didn’t realize our room would not be housekept as the trash was not picked up. These are some things to consider when booking.

I like the layout idea of the bedroom. It is very neat. There are many good ideas in the room such as no carpet, and no closet but it has the hangers in an open space. the cooling unit has a wall thermostat control.

The only thing I disliked was first I got a room with a powerful dog odor. But the staff changed the room for me immediately which is nice service. I recommend separating the guests without dogs who are allergic to animals. I also recommend the bathroom shampoo and body wash bottles change to pump instead of squeeze type. when previous guests squeezed them and then left their germs there from rubbing their bodies.

The design was thoughtful and fresh.

The window did not have curtains and the sun shine dire6one the bed from the time it came up until went down making it impossible to sleep in which was disappointing as I was hoping to sleep in. Also, everytime I took a shower half the bathroom got wet as the shower curtain didn't go all the way to the floor and there was not barrier on the bottom of the shower.

We were touring the4 country in our Tesla Y EV and needed a quite night's sleep after a long days drive. We were suprised to learn that they had 3 chargers available for guests EVs. That will make Tru Hilton a destination stop in the future. The European Youth Hostile vibe is an amazing environment and one we look forward to in the future. The rooms were generous in size and suite environment5 made us feel ri8ght at home. Excelloent job guys, you will see us again.

A little Bistro would have been a great addition.

felt modern without being over the top. everything was clean and convenient. breakfast was better than most hotels. staff was wonderful. pool was nice. everything felt clean and taken care of

room felt a little minimalist, which is fine it was comfortable but for the price we ended up laying it was kinda cramped. no microwave even tho they sold stuff downstairs you needed to heat up. little things. nothing terrible

Everything was wonderful. Had a great stay.

The only things that I wish were different: There were various stains in the carpet in the hallways. It would have made a world of difference in our perception if they would spot clean those areas. Looked like they had been there a while. Not a fan of down filled pillows. Wife and I are somewhat allergic to them so woke up stuffy. Plus they completely sink when you lay your head on them.

The kids loved the pool! The beds were comfy and the staff was great. I had to book another night because of an incoming storm and they were very helpful in getting that done for me.

I was expecting after staying a second night for them to change the trash and give us clean towels but they did not. Only fall back of the stay.

Check in Friday night was great! The very nice and friendly lady was nothing short of awesome!!

The rest of front desk staff (except one young man, I so wish I got his name, coffee was out and he immediately with a smile brought a fresh one from the back) needed to take classes in customer service no smiles, no eye contact and uninviting

I liked the office staff in the center of the area and the work stations downstairs - your teen, children, worker can switch up areas to use electronics - furniture is modern and easily movable. Hot breakfast was a nice diversion - don’t forget to put on the gloves provided at the start of the buffet and if you want milk you must ask the attendant. I like the large squirt bottles of soap shampoo etc. it seems that recycling is being considered a place in the lobby to fill water bottles thank you!

Doors slam, and noise travels - this is a chronic hotel issue - no microwave - this should be mandatory in all rooms - no coffee machine either (sure you can get coffee down stairs at any time)
