Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Bowling Green

Front desk evening staff went above and beyond for us on a recent stay. I had requested an extra fridge since we had to travel with a lot of food, and it was set up and cold by the time we arrived. Then she helped store a large bad of ice packs in the hotel freezers, so we could be ready to continue on our journey the next day. We are very grateful and will do our best to stay there the next time we pass through. Very clean and large room, nice shower with built it toiletries.

Prepacked waffles at breakfast were still very cold, should have been defrosted earlier prior to serving. Aside from that, NOTHING!

We were there for our daughter's graduation from WKU...unfortunately the tornado hit in the early hours of Saturday morning. Marissa was working the front desk and kept all of us safe in the kitchen area where there are no windows. She went out of her way to make all of us comfortable and safe. My only suggestion is that Marriott train their employees on what to do during an event like this. She had not been trained, but was so very helpful. Our daughter's apartment was hit by the tornado and she is fine...but she is the one that called and woke us up to alert us of the tornado. The hotel did not alert the guests of the tornado. That's my only negative and I would suggest that the staff be trained to alert their guests of the danger via a phone call or alarm or something.

So thankful that for people who don’t wish to stay in hotels that accommodate family pets as well, we can still have a place to stay! Very hard to find this now , so thank you for providing this in your place!

There was nothing that we didn’t like. Very enjoyable stay and will be our go to place when we travel if available where we go!

The breakfast was NOT what we expected. The pictures on the website as well as IN THE BREAKFAST AREA were not what was served. And to be honest probably 50% of my decision to stay there was because of the breakfast. There was only 2 kinds of cereal (both Cheerios). A toaster with no bread. No meat whatsoever. Premade waffles that were tougher than a stale bagel. It was not good.

I was impressed as soon as I walked in. The staff was very friendly and our room was clean and looked nice. We couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast, Sandy and the other man serving treated us like family. The heated indoor pool and gym were just a bonus. The location was close to everything. I actually went back and checked to see how much I was charged for my room because I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was to stay in such a nice hotel

A older women greeted us as she was preparing breakfast. She made sure everything in serving area was clean and stocked. She was awesome. Interacting with her starts your day off with a smile.

We were on the top floor and the bed next to the window shook when the air unit went on. We ended up sharing the bed by the bathroom because it actually made you nauseous. It was late when we arrived and rooms were limited.

I ENJOED THE ROOM AND CLEANLINESS OF THE POOL AREA. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast staff were super nice. They asked how my day was and my plans for the evening.

Breakfast signage. Letting us know what is offered since things have changed. This is my favorite chain so I have noticed the change in the food and some outdoor decor.

The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I have had at a hotel. The room was very nice. Ample parking. Check in and check out was simple.

The only thing that could have been better was that the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty.

Breakfast. Wish we would have known, it was more of a grab and go breakfast. We were expecting scrambled eggs and such. We understand, we guess, because of covid,but just wish we would have known this ahead of time for our traveling planning purposes.

Tub stopper did not work. Toilet would flush once, then you could only flush again in three minutes. Toiletry containers in two of three were empty.
