Candlewood Suites - Lexington - Medical District, an IHG Hotel

The outdoor fire pit and seating area was comfortable and inviting, the snack and forgotten necessity vending area was very accommodating, the coffee bar was well stocked, the parking lot was well lit with easy access to the building from every side of the building, the rooms were spacious and clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need, the staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful, plenty of hot water, well lit bathroom and spacious vanity area, and the room temperature control panel was easy to access and regulate.

There were no problems or anything I didn't like.

The managers on duty were more than wonderful. We had a great conversation while I was being checked in and even afterward. The rooms were very nice and upon showing pictures to my girlfriend who was in KY the week before staying at the Courtyard Lexington North in town, she said my room was much nicer than hers and she paid much more than I did.

Actually, the only thing I noticed was that the body wash in the shower was just about empty but that was it. Nothing really to get mad about and I didn't feel like calling down to ask for more. The little dove bar provided on the sink was fine for my one night stay.

The hotel is pristine! It was so comfortable, the bed, the room, the whole place. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this one has to be the favorite. The bathroom was unreal. I felt like I was wealthy. LOL Seriously, I loved the complete stay and wished I could have stayed longer. I met some people who were there because of loved ones being in the nearby hospital, and they appreciated a place to stay where they could feed their family, and do their laundry. That is important. I have been there and did not have that luxury. So I appreciate this hotel for that fact and the fact that one day, I may be needing a hotel for that purpose, and I most definitely use this one. Thank you!

There was nothing about this hotel that I didn't like. There was a lot of thought put into this and I feel like someone, somewhere, had to have had a family member that was sick and they came up with the layout of this hotel.

Perfect central location for all our visiting and activities in Lexington. Spacious rooms with a kitchen and super comfortable beds! All the staff is very friendly and accommodating for every need (within reason!). Very clean and it seems like the place is practically brand new… the outdoor common spaces are well tended and the fire pit was nice in the evenings. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Lexington!

Our room was nice and clean. The other couple with us had many problems. The first room they were given wasn’t cleaned. The second room they got had stains on the sheets and smelled of smoke. Once those issues were resolved, the rest of the stay was fine.

It’s not located close to many things. But, It was a little over a mile from Kroeger field (which is why we were there) and was within walking distance to avoid the traffic.

Location was great facility was clean and new love that it came with a kitchenette and it was dog friendly

I was in room 403 and it was quite a long walk to and from the elevator. And being on the fourth floor I didn’t always wanna take the stairs at my end of the building. Also there was a loud noise that came from the vent in the bathroom, and we needed to keep our bathroom door closed at night while we slept so we didn’t have to hear it.

The kitchenette was helpful. I liked the bright bathroom. Staff was friendly. Location was close to where we needed to go.

Our room was above the laundry room and at 7am I was woke up by a whirling sound and the room was smaller than I thought it would be.

That it wasn’t our first pick. It was our last minute. We would’ve loved to have had the rest of our weekend be here but we had reservations somewhere else.

Newer hotel, good location. Good water pressure in shower, clean with all amenties. Coffee pot in the suite was good!

Front lobby complimentary coffee not so good. There are no continental breakfast options. Lobby was pretty plain, just run of the mill lobby.

This property looks very new. everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The room has a nice kitchen and good room. Its pretty easy to get to. the parking lot needs some work but the lot next door is empty and likely to be built on which might allow better parking. We did not have breakfast.
