The breakfast was wonderful couldn't be better in a five star restaurant. My husband and I was very close to the camp meeting at church so the hotel was in a close proximity to what we wanted to do go to church.
When we first arrived on Thursday the property didn't know we were coming. Now my account has been billed for not only staying, but also for not showing up. Which we did. still waiting to get this fixed. The property did have one last room so we still got to enjoy a wonderful time. luckily.

I liked that this hotel as was so close to the hospital. The nearby restaurants were also a bonus. After draining visits to see my dad in the hospital, it was helpful to have a comfortable place to return to.
I liked just about everything. However, I wished the breakfast was kept open a bit longer. Ended up getting a sack with an apple, water and a small muffin a few times, because we missed breakfast every morning.

While the front desk staff was professional, they seemed distracted and not customer focused as was the kitchen staff. I think that if the employees want to dress casually in hoodies when making the first impression to guests, the hotel should provide nice hoodies with hotel identification and individual name tags.

The breakfast was good....it did appear they needed to refill a couple of items.... There was basically only decaf tea choices, but I asked and they did go and get other choices. I also had to request more got water for the tea. For the waffles there was only sugar free syrup. I will have to note they may have been short staffed as Lexington had their 1st winter storm with 10” of snow!
I do not like the comforters on the beds. They are lightweight, but they are very warm and if you get hot while sleeping it's either that or just the sheet! I have gone to the trouble before of getting the regular blanket out of the closet that goes to the sleeper sofa to use on the bed because I find the comforter too warm!

The was always available to provide services that arose (on leaving I was using a walker and my wife was pushing a LOADED luggage cart the young gentleman at the grabbed it went to our car and helped load it in COLD! When I offered him tip he politely refused

The location was great. Breakfast was good.The noon check out time was nice. The staff was friendly and the area quiet. We would definitely visit again.
I booked through booking.com, but the hotel asked me to pay again upon arrival. They finally saw where I had already paid and honored my reservation.

The room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Kudos to housekeepers! When we walked in we felt like we were the first to ever occupy the room. Martin at the front desk was friendly and personable. He made check-in a breeze and was very accommodating. We were in town for a UK/FL baseball game. The hotel is conveniently located to the university. We will definitely stay here again if back in Lexington. BTW - Go Gators!

Breakfast was awesome. Hot breakfast with eggs and biscuits that stayed open until 10am. Rooms was large and mattress was comfortable. Very friendly staff Close to restaurants and other attractions in the area.
The only reason this didn't get a perfect score was because of the A/C unit in the room. Room was very hot when we entered despite being set at 68. Checked unit and filter was completely clogged up. No real problem as I could clean it off myself and after that the A/C worked fine.

I was never told there was a discount if you were there for medical reasons. We were there for a procedure that kept my husband overnight and I stayed at the Hampton. Consequently I paid top dollar.
