DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans

Room was very comfortable and clean, the location is excellent and the staff were friendly. The hotel is in walking distance to shopping, Bourbon St, both Cafe Du Monde's, Cafe Beignet and the casino.

Slow Running water bathroom sink No Pressure just thin Stream. Breakfast Sucks Very Nasty for 22.00

The location was great. Close to the Riverwalk, Bourbon Street, etc.

The sink was stopped up in the room and had mold around it. We requested someone come check the sink on the first day and no one ever came.

The staff was very nice. They gave us warm cookies when we got here, which was a nice touch. They made us feel welcome. The room was gorgeous, the city view was stunning, especially at night. I liked the security of the hotel as well, you had to have a key card just to get in the door after a certain time of night as well as to use the elevators. The shower worked and drained well, the tub was a little dated tho but it was clean! The beds were comfy, the air worked well, there were plenty of plugs all over to charge phones and electronics. The PS4 hooked up to the tv easily, the pool was nice, and really cold, breakfast downstairs was a bit expensive for the amount of food they gave you but at least there was the option to get food there. One less thing to worry about when you are first waking up. The location was really good, a few steps away from the streetcars on canal street, and just across canal street from the french quarter. Also it's across the street from Harrah's. We would def stay here again, and find our own parking. 9/10

The only thing was that the parking was ridiculously expensive, and then you're supposed to tip the valet on top of paying $55 a night just to park?! I found my own parking after the 1st night there. Also there's a $75 a NIGHT security deposit! Also ridiculous

Clean rooms, great location, and overall comfortable stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and was quick to adjust or stay when necessary (for example, when one of our coworkers switched rooms because of an AC problem). The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are well equipped (safe, fridge, tea station, large TV, enough electricity sockets, etc.). The hotel is close to the touristy areas (French Quarter, Bourbon street), which was perfect for our stay. The pool, whilst facing the East side, was a nice extra!

The gym was a bit outdated (for example, there was only one yoga mat available and not a lot of space to work out), but it was sufficient for a short stay. We had some trouble with the WiFi (service not available everywhere, and you needed to log in several times a day), which was not ideal considering we were traveling for work.

Location, close to all important places, but far enough from the confusion of Canal street

Pool needs maintenance, external door liock of the room was loose. Most of the staff was friendly, altgough a bit of additional courtesy when doing check in/out would be appreciated. One night I called for room service, my call was transferred and in rough way I was told that that service was not available. I called a second time as I was seeing on the hotel app that that service was available, and a nicer person informed me that I could do my order and pick up at the restaurant. 2 different enployees-2 different answers.. the hotel wiould get a conplaint for wrongly advertising a service and loose an additinal expense from a customer. I had a great tine un NO but we want good value for our money and these things are not acceptable in a hotel of that range.

Location was great...on Canal and close to the French Quarter and Riverwalk

I requested a room on the Tchoupitoulas side of the hotel via my Hilton app but the room I chose wouldn't save- kept getting an error msg. even though the app was linked to my reservation and telling me to choose my room, chk.in, etc. When I got there, I was placed on the opposite side. When I requested they change it, they gave me a hard time because I used a 3rd party co. and stated my Hilton Honors status was irrelevant and refused to change the room. Other than that, everything was good. Waitress Marie and dining staff were great and the breakfast was good.

Great location near waterfront and easy walk to Bourbon St. and Jackson Sq. Trolley stop right outside hotel with good value 1, 3 or 5 day passes. Breakfast expensive at $22 each but probably comparable to eating out. Restaurant staff were excellent.

Room size disappointing and unable to use one of the easy chairs provided as not enough space to access it easily. Surly attitude of luggage staff. Valet parking works out at over $50 per night with taxes included.

Location is great because it is very close to the main spots in the city. You can do pretty much in walking distance. The room is very good, and the cleaning also very good, since it was not cleaned every day due to covid.

The location was prime and you couldn't get any better. The staff was amazing and helpful. Breakfast was good and everything was clean.

The safe in my room didn't work and they couldn't fix it. We had a clock that we nor the security guy who came to look at the safe, could set it to the right time. We could set the alarm but not the time itself. The AC unit was loud. It rattled like a piece of paper or something was up there.
