excellent location and decent sized rooms

rooms could have been cleaner, splashes up back of bathroom door and obvious not cleaned at edges and corners of room , outdoor pool was in serious need of a clean and basic general repairs required a lol over ( lift flooring, fountain etc) twice tried to explain to staff that they were charging us on two separate cards ( this being due to fact I booked using debit card but they insisted on having credit card for incidentals. reception staff not very friendly

It was a great location in walking distance to Bourbon Street. It was clean and quiet. The parking attendant was very friendly.

I couldn't easily access my car during my stay due to the valet parking. The room was very cold with no wall thermometer to adjust the temperature.

location, location, location. Rooms were very spacious. bed was sooo comfortable - clean linens and towels. staff was very helpful and courteous.

Needs some updates … elevators and carpet - noted that they are working on updates

The staff was very responsive. There was some confusion around the room assignment, where I was told I would need to call booking.com to resolve. The shift supervisor, Diane, quickly and effortlessly resolved the issue to meet my expectations. Overall, the staff were friendly and responsive. Front desk team, Bonnie, Jasmine, Courtney, "Thank you!", were very helpful and professional. As well, the cleaning staff were all very accommodating and good sense of humor. The location was perfect for me to feel safe walking to and from. It was off the beaten path and great for mature travelers.

One elevator carpet could use a good power wash and/or upgrade.

I loved the courtyard beautiful. The staff very helpful . Our valet was great in getting our cabs and when we checked out kept our bags secure until we needed to hit airport. The beds and pillows are to die for. Location perfect away from bourbon street noise and yet walking distance to French quarter.

I understand that the hotel will be renovating very soon. It does need a little updating. The hotel restaurant bar was not open even though they said it was. Came back to hotel early one night and there were people in bar restaurant area with jazz playing . Would have been nice to have known about that .

The hotel is old, and the elevator is creaky, but everything is well maintained, and the staff is exceptional. The location is great, the hotel is located about two blocks from Bourbon Street. In fact, walk straight down Toulouse Street and end up by the old Jax Brewery close to Jefferson Square and the French Market. The stay was very nice. The price was very good as well.

The AC in the room worked very well, except the thermostat did not work. The room was very cool which I like, but some may not. I did not call maintenance to repair, because as stated earlier I like a cool room.

The location was great. Room was lovely and it was made up daily and was always fresh and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly

I was not aware that the hotel would actually charge $50 per day on my Amex card for any possible damage to the room. It was only refunded two days after check out when they said it would be an immediate refund. The bar and restaurant were only open on the weekend

it was much older and a little run down.. however we still was nice and comfortable. I would say the only downfall was the head of housekeeping comes around nap time screaming “housekeeping” and banging on your door. so when you wake up and ask what the problem is? she asks if our room was cleaned? they need to figure another way out

That it didn’t have a fridge for water and drinks. and the house keeping supervisor screaming and banging every day I was trying to take. a nap.

very clean facility especially for a building of its age. friendly staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. location was perfect to walk around the french quarter and bourbon street.

mandatory valet parking at $40 per night. 1 elevator was out of service for the first three nights. last night had some noisy neighbors but that is to be somewhat expected. but first three nights were very quiet.

Location close to the heart of the French Quarter, Bourbon St was a 5 minute walk at the most. The hotel was easily accessible from I10 and equally easy enough on departing to find I10.

The hotel did not have a restaurant operational for a quick breakfast whether full service of buffet which would be a wonderful addition to staying at this location.
