Sonder St Helene

The room was fantastic - very charming, with french doors opening to the courtyard with a pool and fountain. The fountain ran 24 hours, which might bother some people (it was a little loud) but it was charming. Everything was spotless, I was very satisfied with the room. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the French Quarter. The pool view rooms are very quiet.

I didn't like the "no cancellations/no changes" policy - I originally booked the room for a week, but my plans changed 3 months out from the reservation, and Sonder would not let me change the reservation to allow for a shorter stay. This was a very expensive stay as a result. I'm not sure why they have this policy, especially when the reservation was three months away! Not happy about this.

Clean and a nice area also nice balcony's, it's in the middle of the French quarter but it's quiet at night and also they do tours at night sometimes and it was cool watching the different tours from above talk about the buildings around us

The bathroom light kept getting dim which is understandable being in new Orleans and the pool wasent clean unfortunately also some of the different handles in the bathroom were loose

location, historic building, keyless, small pool, property responded quickly to ideations and requests.

whoever painted did not cover the floor, sadly. needs a bit more painting in back. house cleaning should look to replenish the pool towels, cups, coffee for the replenish area

Location was perfect. Cozy lobby and back patio.

I wished there was a hook for a towel in the bathroom, a bar for a washcloth by the sink, and maybe a drop zone by the door for my purse (especially since there’s a TV where a dresser would be). We also could’ve used an extra pillow.

I liked that it was close to bourbon street, canal, and any other Main Street we needed to get too! I liked that it was clean!

The internet wasn’t the best to connect to and the tv wasn’t the best to connect too. But we’re not there for the tv anyway.

Where do I start? Time has changed and I appreciate that I didn't have to check in with a front desk. All the information I needed to check in was sent to me via text/email. The building door password was given, the room password was given, and how to use the Chromecast for the television. I had the room with the balcony and it was refreshing to just sit on the patio and enjoy the people and the fresh air. I appreciate the old with the modern look of the hotel. When I come back to New Orleans I will stay here again. My husband and I plan on checking out other Sonder properties around the country.

I couldn't stay longer.

I like the whole property but my 2 favourite things were the pool and how it is an historic building. the others think was our flights got canceled and I asks if there was any room available and were so helpful in the chat on the app 😁

Great location!!! Every great restaurants are walking distance… The room was nice and clean…

The pool needs a little more attention😏 but you can still swim in it but needs love.

Love the location. Was a great stay except the ac didn’t work often

The ac kept going out and I would come home to a room hotter and more humid than the outside

size, valet persons, equipment

information, TV had to be streamed through phone, someone accessed my room while I was away and moved TV to a different room, valet fee was taxed, Sonder moved me to this location from the location I booked, decaf coffee not available in the room.
