TownePlace Suites by Marriott New Orleans Downtown/Canal Street

Truly, can't say enough about this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised🤩. I seriously, didn't expect half of what this place offers. Convenient location. The street car stops right in front of the hotel. Every staff member that I came in contact with was super friendly & eager to help. The hotel is very elegant & clean. We booked a King suite with a city view, the room was spacious, extremely comfortable & the view was amazing. We especially liked that the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed: dishes, microwave, nice size refrigerator, pots & pans. There was even a cute little office area, ample closet space, & streaming services on the television. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

My only issue was that parking is somewhat of an issue, and the remote to one of the TV's was a little worn, making it difficult to change channels, lol.

The wonderful and accommodating staff, cleanliness of all areas, and the overall high level of security of the hotel. My guests and I felt safe, secure, and very welcome. I'm grateful for that.

No sofa or chaise in room for a 3rd person in a double. There wasn't much the staff could do, which was understandable. So, I'd just make a friendly suggestion to consider adding one of the following to the double rooms: a chaise, chair with ottoman/footstool, or recliner in the double rooms. The room looked exactly like the pictures. Very clean and spacious. Queen sized beds. Breakfast was provided and the rooftop was open.

The only thing I did not like was the walking distance from the main attractions. It was a 10 min walk to Bourbon Street and 20 min walk to the French Quarters.

Cleanliness not a lot of noise.

The check out time needs to be updated. Website shows 12 and it is 11. Staff knocking ready to clean room. This needs to be updated updated.

The staff is super sweet and helpful. I forgot to get milk, they found me some. Breakfast was OK. The sausage gravy and biscuits were amazing.Love that the rooms have kitchens. This is our second time here. Stayed a extra night. Elevators are super quick. Location is great. Get the view of the water. The sunrise is breathtaking!!!

Floors were a little nasty. Used the towels to mop up old dog hair. Clock didn't work. Shower handle broken. No wifi. Netflix didn't work. T.v clock was not the right time. Nothing on the guide showed at the right time. Weird. Nothing so bad that we had to call the front desk. We weren't here to watch tv.

New hotel on walking distance Bourbon street. Very large room with small kitchen. Good bed!

Breakfast very simple and only until 900 am Parkinglot besides hotel is very dangerous. 3 cars with brooken windshields! Via the hotel we got a parking onky 200m further up at the other side of the street. Much more cars, but also not garded. They charged us $20 pro night, but you can do it yourselve for less then $15

The property was emasculate the cleanest hotel I ever stayed at the room was beautiful I had a suite the location was great the staff was great

I loved everything there was nothing that I didn’t like the staff was wonderful our luggage was taken to our room even when we went shopping our packages was taken to our room

The property was very clean, the staff was super friendly and honest. Mr. Kendrick our valet guy was exceptional as well. Our panoramic rooms view was amazing, the rooftop lounge was also open and it was suburb. We definitely enjoyed making memories with friends here. The walk to bourbon is a little far for my liking but not bad at all. Parking was $39 a night for valet, but thts expected in New Orleans.

It was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed at. I think it would have been quieter in the French Quarter. Additionally they charge $20 per day (self park) for parking but the general public can park in the same lot for $13 per day
