Flagship Inn

The hotel was quiet. Check-in desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was very good and plentiful, and the staff member preparing the breakfast was friendly and helpful. I liked the heated pool and hot tub outside the Flagship Inn. There are many services nearby - a restaurant, grocery store, gas station, and an ice cream shop to name a few. And it's only a few minutes by car to scenic Boothbay Harbor.

The freezer in our room refrigerator needed to be defrosted. It had too much ice build up which made cooling less efficient. The air conditioning worked well, and the hotel and room amenities were fine. The hot tub had a lot of foam and the water should be treated with product.

Beautiful spot. Backs up to penny lake preserve. A beautiful hiking trail. 6 minutes from downtown boothbay and all attractions ect that are there! Breakfast was great. Pool and hot tub were lovely. Restaurant on sight if you choose to eat dinner there as well. Plenty of parking. It was quiet and just far enough away from all the loud tourist hustle,bustle and crowds!! Also has pic nic tables, and bbqs available for use. We stayed in 257 in the back which had a lovely view of penny lake trail.

Everything was great. We had no issue here. They did not have green tea.. so, we picked some up. I usually bring my own anyway but, forgot to pack it!

Breakfast location was great in a closed restaurant next door to the property....lots of space. Breakfast was ok....would have been nice to have toast available.. . And the orange juice was not that cold...just sitting in a glass carafe. But our room was very good....very clean and well cared for. Bed was comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room although fridge didn't have freezer for our ice packs but staff allowed us to put them in a freezer near the lobby. Nice quiet location, short drive to the waterfront/downtown area.

Rooms were older, but very clean and well maintained. Nice size room and newer chairs. Window could open for fresh air or window AC to use. Thw room was equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, microwave and iron. The front desk staff was very friendly at arrival and departure. We were able to take advantage of early check-in. Great location and a trolley stop is right in front of the hotel.

Beds were a little bouncy and the bathroom was clean, but had signs of age and a very low shower head (I'm 5'4" and it was low).

clean and good location. Affordable in an expensive area. Nice and warm swimming pool. Staff is nice and helpful.

Breakfast. Sugar, white flour. Not a single fruit, not even an apple. And the fact they wrap in plastic every item. COVID restriction? It is a waste of time. We know now that you can get infected by air, not by touching objects. All that plastic waste…considering plastic is one of the worst thing for the environment. They should update their way of serving. That would benefit their staff and the environment. The carpet is full of stained.

Although the motel was near capacity, our room was quiet ~ did not hear the people in the next room. The breakfast was different on both mornings. Sadly, no eggs, but there were fresh blueberry muffins. It was adequate, with a few nice touches. We weren't expecting to have our room freshened up, but delighted to find clean towels upon our return the first day. The location ~ ice cream shop next door, pizza shop across the street, and grocery store just down the street. We had an excellent stay with a very comfortable mattress, clean and quiet room, good water pressure, and comforts for an enjoyable stay.

The only disappointment is the restaurant was not open. It is understandable though with the current situation.

Location was excellent in relation to value. We were a long walk or two minute car drive to the center of Boothbay Harbor's main tourist area; the continental breakfast selection included pancakes and sausage one day/French toast and sausage on alternating days in addition to juice, teas, coffee, milk, cold cereal, etc. Dinner theater is located right next to hotel. Movie theater, food store, etc. are walking distance. Fresh cookies at lobby each day. Outdoor pool looked inviting.

No fresh fruit at breakfast. Gym was minimal.

Very clean, great location 3 minute drive to downtown, 20 minute walk. Grocery store next door. Pool was nice, water was clean. Hot tub was a plus. Fridge, coffee, microwave in room. Help is so accommodating, they really go out of their way, would definitely stay here again. Trolley stops out front, nice plus as you can ride to town.

Pillows, but I usually bring my own. Husband said they were fine.

Person who greeted us this morning at 1101 was a lil rude.my app said checkout was 11/1130.she knocked at 11 and asked if we were leaving or staying I said,Im sorry we are leaving now.my app said 1130.she kinda scoffed and walked off.no real issues but that was kinda unessecary.we we're quiet respectful guests.with a check in at 3pm.we didn't even get 24hr stay.which is fine.but lady was rude.i assume she was a room cleaner because everyone at the front desk was cordial and very much pleasant ppl when we checked out.maybe let them handle customers lol

The included breakfast buffet had a large, fresh selection. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean with plenty of towels. The pool was well maintained and clean. It was located right next to a grocery store and gas station, but it was still a quiet neighborhood.

The hot tub tiles near the water line could have been cleaned. The rooms were a little small.
