Sanfordinn

Although quite near some major tourist centers, Sanford was down-home enough to give us a taste of everyday local life. There is a great Mexican restaurant in the nearby shopping center and a great breakfast place (Raspberry something) right down the road The inn owners were quite friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable within a high-priced region. The wifi worked well in the morning. The ground-floor room was quite convenient and our car was parked right outside of it.

The nearby road traffic was sometimes noisy. Could have used a fourth pillow on the queen bed.

Very comfortable bed. Having a fridge and microwave in the room. Having the sink separate from the shower and toilet room. Being able to park right outside our room.

No information in the room about the area… like restaurants. Having no information about TV stations. The TV remote wasn’t very user friendly. Directions on the TV didn’t match the remote we had.

The owners went out of their way to upgrade our room for the same rate as our original booking. We discovered a great Mexican restaurant called El Mexicano right nearby. There's also a great breakfast place called Mel's Raspberry Patch just a few miles away.

The wifi could have been a bit faster, but it came through okay after a few tries..

The place was very clean and comfortable. It was pretty spacious compared to other places I have stayed. The carpeting was really soft, the bed was very comfortable, the bathtub was large and deep. I was very satisfied with everything.

The employee/owner was very serious and not that friendly. Other than that, the room was great ! The location was in the middle of nowhere. The motorcycles and vehicles in the parking lot were kinda loud at late hours.

There was no breakfast, understandable due to Covid-19 - Booking.com had indicated there was a breakfast. Not a show stopper. The room was clean every day we were there. All In All we were happy with the experience.

The only thing was that we came there expecting breakfast, but due to covid-19 it had been discontinued. I won't call it a complaint, more of a minor inconvenience. The facilities were excellent, and we will consider staying here again when in Maine.

The property is impeccable the buildings are keep beautifully rooms are spotless. The room made me feel like I was home comfortable had everything I needed the cleaning staff go above and beyond the owners are kind and helpful I can’t thank them enough for my stay. I was recovering from surgery and just needed rest. Close to supermarkets stores. Close to fast food restaurants banks beaches lakes. Next to mini golf and golf. Movie theater bowling close to the highway. Excellent place check it out 😁

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean.

No breakfast was offered. I realize it was August and the peak of summer, but the price was high for what we got. Not enough towels for 4 people to shower.

It was in a very nice, country location. Away from traffic noise and commotion. The room was set back from the road.

Nothing. It wasn’t looking for any more that a quiet, safe place to spend the night.

The staff was friendly when checking in The room was exceptionally large, very clean, and had everything we expected. Separated entrances and numbered parking.

The room needed a coffee pot

Becuase of covid restrictions there wasn't any breakfast nor was there any coffee in the room or in the office. Tha was probably the biggest complaint that we had. Overall, we were quite satisfied. The owner takes pride in his property. It is where he and his family live. Met his son who was a very nice, polite boy.

No coffee...at all.
