Best Western Plus Hotel & Conference Center

Our room was easily accessible, the pool was very warm, beds were really comfortable, and great view from our big window. The $150 damage deposit could be paid with cash, that was very convenient so we could have it back the next day without having to wait a couple days for it to post back onto a card. Also, last but not least the breakfast exceeded our expectations!

A sign on the door said the hot tub was out of order, however, people were getting in it anyways. We were told no one could by front deck and then security said it was only down because the jets weren’t working as good. Our key card took like 50 tries to let us in every time we left our room. We had to track down sheets, blankets, and pillows for our pull out sofa. Usually hotels have them in the room somewhere.

It had free breakfast and best of all free parking. Seneka the supervisor in the Caf was very welcoming and super friendly. The fact that she is there for almost 30+ years and is still able to genuinely maintain good customer service amazes me. You need people like her in all parts of the business. My son was shy but he gave her a big smile 😊

Nothing to dislike except that during our stay the room was only cleaned once. Even though I had the sign up for room makeover. The TV was also not functioning properly seems the wifi is very slow we were at the 8th floor so not sure if that was the case.

I liked the area and it was close to the Harbor. It was very easy to find after we got off from the highway. We also liked the security staff.

The night we stayed there you had a big kids fashion show there and when we came back from going out to shop and sightsee the parking lot was totally full and there were no spots available for your guests in the hotel rooms. I found that to be VERY annoying! If you have parties like that you should block off a section of your parking lot for the people who actually have rooms reserved there. There were a lot of pissed off people that night. Some said they would never come back to your hotel again.

The property was very convenient for us to do everything we wanted to in Baltimore.

The Hallway was not air conditioned look like that floor needed work done to it. The hallway was very hot and it looked ran down.

I basically love the jacuzzi room, have been there about five times now. Excellent value for such a big hot tub. One so so gripe about bed room lighting. See below.

My eyesight is not the greatest and need bright light to get my required reading done effectively. The lighting in the bedroom is quite dim at night, and makes reading more difficult. In the past I have requested extra lighting and staff has obliged. I had received an email last trip stating that my request could be honored. However when I arrived two staff members and security told me that my request for extra bedroom lighting could not be honored. I had to get quite vocal and adamant by stating that their responses and explanations were not acceptable. Head person in charge was brought into the situation and eventually honored my special request. I definitely had to pull some chains there this past visit.

Our flight was delayed but even at 3 AM a gentleman was waiting at the front desk with a warm smile. Check-in/out was a breeze. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful from the breakfast crew to the security guard who delivered a remote control to our room at 4 AM.

Although the staff was excellent, my room was as far from the elevator as possible which is no fun rolling in a wheelchair on carpet. The room booked was "accessible with a roll-in shower" but instead was a regular room with no space for my wheelchair to fit through or turn around. The pool was closed just before 5 PM but I dont know if it was because a storm made the lights go out briefly or because an event happening that night. Also, despite a huge parking lot we had a difficult time parking because of the "party people" who arrived while we were on a tour. The following morning (11 AM) the outside grounds were still quite littered with cigarette butts and what not like a typical dance club at closing.

My husband got off the elevator on the wrong floor and decided to take the stairs. When he was coming out of the stairwell, he was greeted by security, and then was threaten that if he was smoking in the stairwell, he would be fined and thrown out of the property. My husband told the security officer that he could clearly read that there is no smoking on the property as well as in the stairwell. He also told him that he is a 55 year old man and he knows better. After my husband told the security officer that he said OK Ok. I understand that the security officer is just doing his job, but there is a better way of speaking to people, especially if you're a guest on the property.

The staff was very helpful, I asked a ton of questions and they were helpful each time. The breakfast had great variety. The complimentary shuttle was awesome. It was nice to take the shuttle into Inner Harbor instead of driving in, especially after the Orioles game. The kids enjoyed the pool.

The fitness center is a bit outdated and only has one working treadmill. Could use a little bit of rejuvenation, although clean the rugs felt well-worn.

The service and the amenities( we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of their Tradewinds restaurant- our waitress Miss Alicia made us feel at home, and the cleanliness of the hotel bathrooms and the driver of our complimentary shuttle to Inner Harbor was punctual and very friendly!)We will book with Best Western Plus the next time we visit Baltimore!

Our toilet made hilarious noises when it was refilling, other than that I'd give this hotel a 9 out of 10 !!!

This was a clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel with a nice breakfast and good-sized rooms with soft pillows and excellent shower pressure. There was also a comedy club theater in the hotel which we didn’t get a chance to attend. It was situated very far from our room and did not disturb us. The rooms were quiet.

The property did not have daily housekeeping service. It was only offered once a week so even though we had a three night stay, the beds were not made and the trash was not emptied nor were the towels changed for our entire visit. We understand that Covid is an issue but perhaps more frequent housekeeping services would have been nice.
