Hampton Inn Baltimore Bayview Campus

The place was very clean and organized. Definitely a thumbs-up for the effort.

PLEASE get your final check-out receipt before you leave the property. They over charged my bank account. They took out four transactions in my account for a total of $788.67. My account is right now overdrawn $220.57 with pending transactions. I contacted Hilton and Hampton Inn Baltimore Bayview Campus in regards to this. Basically, ONE; I was told that I had to wait between 3 to 5 days for the refund to take place. TWO; since I'm not a Hilton Honors Member and I booked through Booking.com pretty much there is nothing that can be done!!! I want to be also refunded for the overdraft fees too!!! I would like to be contacted by either or both Hilton and Hampton Inn management. I never got an apology from either Hilton and Hampton Inn!!!

The breakfast was good , nice selection. Tia McCray at the front desk was superior! I had a problem checking out with booking.com. They refused to help me. Tia did not hesitate. She said let me help with a super friendly and patient attitude. She stayed with me, called Booking.com and continued to multi-task while checking in guests, replacing missing keys and didn't miss a beat. The whole time she was just as friendly to each person she greeted. She solved my issue and placed a note on my page so the next person could see the notes as well as the manager. She is a true asset to the Hampton Inn on Eastern Ave. Everyone was super nice but Tia went above and beyond. I was in town for my Dad's funeral and she made the week so much easier.

Breakfast only stayed warm for 30 seconds. It would be nice to have a microwave to warm breakfast up.

The breakfast was decent. We had choices so that was good. The staff in the morning during breakfast was very helpful and nice.

I didn't like how I saw hair in the shower. It didn't seem like the staff took their time to clean the shower area.

I was very pleased with my stay there. I liked the fact that they provided a decent breakfast, not just a continental breakfast, but a real, hearty breakfast that actually fills your belly and is satisfying! I also liked that a microwave was in my room, which was very convenient. My room was clean and comfortable with a nice view. The staff was friendly, warm and informative. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my stay at Hampton Inn and I would definitely stay there again.

The only downside was that the bathroom could use a bit more lighting but it's a minor detail - I still enjoyed my stay.

I can't say enough about the staff at this location. Whether it was morning or night, everyone was super helpful and always available. Always had a smile or a greeting. I had an issue with my gift cards and they worked hard to help resolve it and were very patient as I tried to work the details out. The room was really nice and super clean. Full size bottles of soaps and hair care. Extra towels upon asking. Bed was comfy and super clean. Shower was spacious. Breakfast was hot and it had good options, although I do wish the eggs didn't have meat since I'm a vegetarian, but there were plenty of things I was able to eat especially the fresh pineapple! Location is outside the down town Baltimore hustle and bustle and I'm a small town girl and find the city intimidating. This location was a nice quiet getaway yet within 20 minutes of johns hopkins homewood campus. This location is a gem and quite the deal. Considering you're staying at a hotel that's 5 years old, its super clean, close to everything and amazing staff, its an awesome deal.

A more friendly, helpful front desk staff, Asia in particular, you won't find anywhere. I realized I left a favorite necklace of sentimental value in my room as I was boarding a cruise. I called and Asia assured me she would personally make sure it was retrieved and kept safe until I could pick it up when I returned. I was able to enjoy my cruise knowing it was in good hands. We'll stay here every cruise out of Baltimore from now on. Rooms were clean and comfortable, great breakfast and location was perfect.

The hotel was super clean and updated, the location was convenient close to the I95, with options to eat in the area. Breakfast was also good. The bed was very comfortable.

There was an air duct that was very loud, which I couldn't control from the room. I've also stayed at at least 10 Hampton Inns this year, and always I've been greeted as a Hilton Honors member or I've been told my member # has been added. This time, the lady at the reception said she wouldn't add the points because I booked through a third party, which is very odd given previous experience.

I liked that the Inn was located close to work, the room was great and the staff was excellent. They were very helpful and concerned about things that mattered to us and breakfast was always available as I would leave for work in the morning. That saved me a great deal of money❤️

The laundry room dryer kept stopping but that was a small thing compared to all the great service offered

It was an unexpected trip to MD we had to make for my nephews funeral. Only two hotels that were close to the funeral home. I selected Hampton Inn Baltimore Bayview Campus because of the reviews and they were right on! I didn't eat breakfast but my husband said it was very good!! He even suggested to write a review because he was pleasantly surprised with the selection I made! I loved the roomy glass shower like mentioned in another review and the sparkly countertop was very pretty! The room itself was nice with a comfortable bed - it was very clean and perfect for what was needed for our short visit.

The only thing I can think of is the traffic noise from the highway. What would one expect because of location. It's certainly not a complaint from me though.

The staff acted like family. They were proud to work there. We didn't have rooms together. Trudy mad sure we had connecting rooms. Food was great. We even watched your maitance guy was literally swept the drive way The breakfast ladies were wearing gloves.we were so delighted. The Hampton inn in Reading Pa is awful.

My only suggestion is roll in showers. Also new king size bed They creaked when you move.
