Confusion with check in, they couldn't find my reservation and I had to show them through the app that not only was I already checked in and my room number, but that my digital key wasn't working and needed physical keys. Biggest turn off was that a supervisor could be heard complaining out loud in the lobby to other staff members and on the phone about a maid who had issue with the way she communicated with her. This same staff member wasn't very welcoming or friendly to guests checking in or out. Bad day? Perhaps... but this shouldn't fall on the ears and experience of guests.

All of the staff at the front desk were super friendly, especially Alex. He suggested a couple of places for us to visit in Salem that we really enjoyed. The personalized welcome on the TV in the room was a very nice touch! 

Breakfast was a disappointment. The only eggs available had ham in them. Neither of us eat ham. Sunday morning there was no bacon, only ham.  I ended up having yogurt, but it was not very cold. On either day. We went to Dunkin' Donuts on our way to Salem. Also there is limited seating available

I think the rooms are some of the best ever for the value, with the kitchenette and sofa and desk on wheels - you could live comfortably at this hotel if you had to - it felt homey. I was there to unpack a storage unit right across the road. I searched and saw the great ratings and could see why. Often, great ratings come down to the people too and this hotel has such professional and friendly staff. I was grateful.

I think Woburn is a place a lot of people work and was perfect for storage but I don’t love the town itself - but this really has nothing to do with the hotel.

There was a breakfast attendant that was constantly in guests way, as we were attempting to get our breakfast from the buffet area. I understand that she was attempting to pay attention to replenishing food, however, she was aggressively moving guests out of her way . I think she needs more trading in appropriately tending to the food buffet , and not making gusta feel as there in her way

The location off the interstate made it extremely convenient. Short distance from Burlington Mall and decent drive into Salem. Very nice breakfast selection. Room was very accommodating and the kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, plates, glasses, utensils. Pitcher and ice bucket. Had stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, sink and microwave. Was there during warm weather and the room temp was perfect (and adjustable). Bed was very comfortable. Room had an extra blanket, set of sheets and pillow.

TV remote didn't work well, but I didn't spend much time in the room so really didn't matter. Looks like everything had been sanitized but I did notice that the doors themselves needed to be wiped as well, not just the handles.

The bed was SUPER comfortable. I have never slept so good away from home. The staff was always very nice. There are 3 elevators so the wait was never long. Plenty of parking and lounge space in the common areas by check in. The gym has a Peloton...need I say more? The pool and gym were stocked with clean towels.

When I called to book the stay, I asked about COVID restrictions or changes and was told there weren't any other than the mask mandate. The breakfast was bagged and the patio outside the pool was closed. I understand that changes are necessary for the safety of the guests but I wish I knew this information ahead of time. The common areas weren't very clean. The pool floor had crumbs from someone's cereal bar and that never got cleaned up. We were there for 4 days. A bottle of water sat on a pedestal for 2 days in the lounge area.

when I researched it said the hotel was only a few miles from the event. It was actually 39 minutes from the hotel but was not bad at all. The only real issue was that the drapes we’re only on the edges of the windows did not come across the whole center of the window and there was a lot of outside light from the road in the factory behind the place

Superb suite type room, very well equipped with pans, glasses, cutlery etc. Comfy beds. Quiet, despite being in a busy location on the outskirts of Boston.

Breakfast was very good, but could potentially offer a couple of extra hot options. Not everyone likes maple flavoured sausage 😏. Bacon and sausage options every day would take it to the next level.

In all of our many travels in the last four years, this hotel stay was one of the nicest and most comfortable. We wanted for nothing, the daily breakfast was great and the staff was outstanding.

Loved everything.

We LOVED this hotel! It was beautiful, and it was in a great area. We stayed at another hotel in Dorchester in early July, the hotel was gross, sketchy area, and MORE expensive then Homewood. I am BEYOND satisfied with our stay. We will be coming back in October for a trip to Salem!

The bed was a little hard on my old lady hips.
