Carlton Lodge

I liked that the people were nice and when I asked to stay another night they matched the price I spent for the first night. It wasn't too bad with noise the other ppl staying there kept slamming doors and yelling but they can't control that. The room was super nice and cozy and will definitely stay there again ☺️

I didn't like having to walk outside to smoke but that was a duh, and the book in the room said there were eggs and sausage for breakfast and there wasn't but I still liked my stay otherwise and u guys can't control the other ppl staying there that were obnoxious.

I love this property and have stayed here several times.

I don’t care for their policy where if you pay for the room in cash that another $100 in cash is held hostage for a deposit. if I have money I’d rather not charge my credit card for a nights stay, however using my credit card for the deposit for any unexpected damages should be allowed. I gave the cash to pay for the room and my card for the deposit to the lady and she wasn’t very pleasant about the policy but finally took my card. we’ve stayed here several times and haven’t had issues. For this reason, my next visit to Adrian in October will be down the road as I already booked it yesterday and they do a $50 deposit on credit.

We liked the location and the fact it has an indoor pool & a great breakfast. The lodge is very nice and homey. Even tho we didn't bring our dogs, there is a large area for dogs to be walked and play. Also my mom and I want to give a big thanks to Danielle!! She was our housekeeper and also she cooks the breakfast in the mornings. She did an amazing job making us feel welcomed and at home. The lodge is lucky to have you!

Can't really say there wasn't anything I didn't like. My mom and I had a fabulous time.

I liked the heated pool. My room was ground level and my view was the pool. Was my first time night swimming in a heated pool. Beds are amazing. Food was hot and good. I'll think I'll become a regular here. Also the floors were clean. No sticky carpet. Love that!

So i need to add that i got charged a extra 100 for some reason. Im not happy about that. No explanation just a card transaction showing they tried to take a hundred. I even smoked in my car so I dont understand this. Great hotel to ruin business like this. No one was at the desk when I arrived for about ten to fifteen mins. She might of had an emergency she was busy at. That was my only fault in the place. Wasn't a big deal to me though. She was a super friendly host apon checking in.

My family n I were very comfortable during our four night stay during NASCAR weekend. Each evening that we returned to our room, we had fresh towels and emptied garbage. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options that even my picky son indulged in. The staff was friendly and the whole lodge was clean. Including the pool which we indulged in a few times. If we need a place to stay in the area again, we will for sure return to the Carlton Lodge.

I don't have any negatives to give.

The receptionist was so nice, she helped me get to where I was wanting to go, order food, she was also so welcoming. I had so many questions and she answered them all with ease and kindness. She was familiar with the area and that helped so much. My room was clean, and quiet. They didn't have the bar/grill open, but they did have food and drink options in the little shop which was wonderful since I came in a little later in the day and didn't want to go out. The pool area was clean, the pool was warm and well maintained. It was really cold outside, they already had the heat on when I went into my room.

The breakfast was standard but the eggs were done well and not over or under done. The entire hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We had an issue with my parents reservation but the staff continued to help us out till we found the resolution.

The pool did not seem like it was cleaned on a regular basis but it is an outdoor and indoor pool so there was some reasoning why there were so many dead bugs in it. The pillows left something to desire.

The room with the hot tub was enjoyable and clean. Liked having the size refrigerator that it had.

The room should have had Kleenex. I thought the mattress was like concrete- but my husband thought it was perfect. Breakfast times were not posted anywhere and could have run longer as it was put away before 10:00 a.m. Needed a wider selection of breakfast items.

Room was just fine,however, a day check particularily with fresh towels would have been nice. The outside landscape needed care of shurbs trimming, grass mowed and weeds removed. Not a good first impression of the facility.

A nice weekend get away with my husband and 4 month old son! Good location with quite a few restaurants near by. Comfy beds, awesome jacuzzi tub, excellent free breakfast! 24 hour work out facility is appreciated. The indoor pool looked fun however it was not very private and was smaller than expected so we did not use it.

Wall paper could use updating or simply removed and walls painted. Side of the tub had some left over food from previous people so that was sort of gross -we cleaned it off with a towel :p
