The room was well organized to be able to set up 2 large suitcases on a raised ledge. Good lighting, comfortable beds, nice bathroom with amenities. The pool was the perfect depth for water aerobics, and the lobby was efficiently designed to accommodate natural lighting for breakfast and a place to use two computer terminals. I would definitely come back here. Good healthy choices for breakfast, also.

Soap dispenser and lotions were in large bottles, which was fine. But the dispenser by the sink was hung too high and not located in a useful place.

I loved the size of the room, the comfortable beds, the nice lotion and soaps in the bathroom. I loved that there was a lot of seating in the room as well as a pull out couch. I loved how clean everything was and just the overall aesthetic of not just the room, but everything in the hotel as well. It was so nice to be able to walk through a hotel that is very clean, gives you a happy feeling because it has so much natural light with all the windows, very courteous staff and to just be greeted with a friendly smile! I will definitely be coming back and I'm letting all my family and friends know how amazing your hotel was and how it is at a great location where you can just hop right on the freeway to get there!

Everything was excellent and I have no complaints at all!

When I first checked in, the room that I was given wasn’t cleaned at all. They moved me but that room wasn’t great. ( good thing that I always packed cleaning supplies) . My bill should have been lowered

Breakfast was what I have come to expect when traveling. This Holiday Inn Express checks all the boxes that I look for except the one described below. We stayed here last year when visiting family and were very happy.

Our stay was two days. The second day we left early in the morning and came in very late that night. We arrived to a room that had not been serviced. I asked the front desk what happened and was told they only service rooms after a five day stay. This should have been communicated to me on check in. I asked for and received fresh towels for our last day.

Since I was there for a long stay, I felt the room should have had a toilet brush and detergent for users daily maintenance. I feel the cleaning every 5 days was not sufficient to maintain the sparkle in the toilet. By the time my two weeks were over, a slight brown line had started forming in the toilet bowl.

The cleanliness of the hotel lobby, free breakfast, clean pool and workout room. Also the convenience of laundry. Frontdesk is very helpful.

We stayed for 8 days. Only the first 3 days our room got cleaned, the rest they just took out the trash. The comforter keeps getting out of the case and we dont knoq how to put it back. We had to keep calling them everyday for fresh towels.

The breakfast was outstanding. The staff, especially the lady overseeing the breakfast & staff, were all friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. Hot food was hot and replenished often. The location was perfect with easy access to I-94. We were back & forth between Ann Arbor & Ypsilanti, and it was very convenient.

Breakfast was above average and serving staff very attentive and accommodating. The facility and our room was very clean. Unscented is also very important to us. There were no febreeze or glade plug in types of "cover up" chemical scents. Just unscented and clean!

The check in clerk was friendly but very slow and could use more training.

The breakfast was great, the location good for us. I especially appreciate the hard work of the staff during a time when they were understaffed, with many guests. We got extra help at the front desk to try to print out boarding passes for us, which was very much appreciated. Also, staff worked hard to keep the breakfast bar stocked. Very nice breakfast!

My only problem was the toilet seat! It was loose. I realized then and now, though, that the issue was a minor one, and I didn't report it because the staff was already overburdened. But it is disconcerting to sit down and have the seat move around, throwing off your balance. But again, everything else was great, and that wasn't a major issue.

The two flaws - when we put the stopper in the sink - you couldn't remove it - had to bail out the water. Second - when we realized we had forgotten something, could not find anyone at front desk
