Americas Best Value Inn - Gaylord

The place looks older but it was a pleasant stay the house keepers took care of us. Bobby at the front desk is hard working an very polite and professional it's quiet and the location is great dollar general is 2/10 of a mile away an also 2 dispensaries which are very affordable so that was a huge plus for location.

I honestly don't have anything to complain about the stay was great an we will return in the future nice big rooms an good staff honestly nothing bad to say about this property. We stayed at Hampton inn in Gaylord Michigan a couple weeks later an I wouldn't stay there again I will go to America's best value inn

Clean comfortable room. Coffeemaker in room. Windows could open. Comfortable beds with extra blankets.

Breakfast was very basic. Limited variety of cereal and bread. Eggs were overdone. Could have been improved with yogurt and boiled eggs rather than the rubbery scrambled eggs. Also no coffee or tea were available at breakfast, just low quality fruit juice.

Mr.Tony at reception was knowledgeable, honest, truth loving person. very helpful to us and other customers. exceptional location, service and other availability. I observed his dedication to work will take him to be a owner one day.

usually customer like location first, than property, than facilities in the property including cleanliness. i like all because i have to go to Mackinac island next day, location is very convenient for traveling , gas station very close to property.

It was ok. Scramble eggs were horrible.

The back entrance didn't lock automatically. There were scary people in a car at the back entrance just parked & smoking pot from the time we arrived, went to dinner & came back.

Breakfast was good hot items were only waffles, toast and bagels but overall decent for the price. Very clean and nice staff

A little noisey by the highway.

Room was a good size with a beautiful large tv. Shower head put out a great amount of water and a warm shower felt great. In room fridge to keep our beverages cold. We were able to book for 1 night which was fantastic as we were only passing through headed to another destination. Almost every other location required 2 nights or wasn't available. There were plenty of good breakfast choices to pick from including decaf coffee i had to recently switch to. There is a fuel station conveniently next door and across the street. Bonus.

The toilet seat wasn't secured or so it seemed. It moved around too much as if it would fall off. Maybe isolated to that room only. It appeared some refurbishing was done but not quite which is only a minor distraction. There is some electronic device clutter around the front desk that could be tidied up to make the entry area more attractive but again, only a minor detail.

The coffee was fantastic. Everything at breakfast was as expected. Staff kept the area stocked and clean. It was your typical scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal/waffle/bagel selection. Easy access to get in and out of the parking lot. Easy access to the highway. Room was clean and comfortable.

The main thing that I noticed was that the air conditioner was loud when it was running. It didn't bother me enough to keep me awake though, or to drown out my husbands snoring. The room was a bit outdated, but it was clean so that didn't matter much to me. I would have preferred that the doors to the outside were locked, but I never felt unsafe.

WOW! Very clean room. Clean remotes. Jacuzzi in my room. Ample tabletop spaces. Comfortable bed and good pillows. Modern fixtures. Good sized refrigerator/freezer. Microwave. Large flat screen TV with Ruku. I am beyond impressed with this room and this motel. Polite front desk personnel. Breakfast offerings are waffles, muffins, eggs, sausage, cereal, breads, juice, coffee, fresh fruit. Location is right off of I 75 but I could not hear any I 75 traffic. I HIGHLY recommend.

I liked everything. It may sound silly to say that, I know. I used to do housekeeping and I know what to look for. I always travel with a black light to see the entire room that the naked eye cannot see. The black light showed Nothing.

The room was clean and served as a great place to sleep after being on the road for 13 hours.

1. The apple juice at breakfast had a very strange aftertaste. 2. There was a Jacuzzi tub in the corner of my room, but there was no water going to it. It was not listed on the amenities. However, if you are going to have something like this in a room, it should work. Otherwise, it should be removed.
